On the matter of young players I see Calvert Lewin on the bench for Northampton. Really winds me up, he could be on our bench. All our young talent need to be starting, it's the only way they will progress.

Disagree - I don't see the problem in some of our young players going out on loan to gain experience.

Yes, Clough signed K Wallace but he was a very average midfield player last season among a huge number of midfield players and no one would have batted an eyelid had he been released. All credit to Adkins for recognising that the lad had some potential, and not necessarily in midfield – of the three left-backs we have fielded so far this season, today he looked much the best (if not as good as Harris when fit) and now Adkins has found his best position, he may well improve as he gains experience playing there and more confidence.[/QUOTE
Kieran Wallace played left back for Ilkeston fc with che in front of him. It's. Not a new position for him. He's 20 years old don't earn alot of money and drives a Peugeot 206. On all accounts he's played well on his debut.

The team probably will, yes. But it'll be a bigger test for Wallace's ability to defend.

He has played well for them so far by all accounts. But he's a young lad, he doesn't need to start every single game. In fact, he shouldn't be starting every game...
