I picked up a CD at the weekend with 23 Blades related songs on it.
The logo on it says "Shoreham Republican Army 1969"
Anyone come across this before or recognise the lad with the tattoos.

What's going on here?! 😆

Interesting to see some of those songs still knocking about, though.

Lyrics to the main song.
Looks like on Owlstalk they have their own version.

Some weird stuff back in the day. Most of it better to stay in the past.

Yeah someone I worked with lent me a copy when I first joined that company and he found out I was a Blade. It stayed in my office drawer and I can’t recall ever playing it.

Little Irish was a character. I bumped into him recently and he no longer goes to the Lane.

I think I'm glad he doesn't go to the Lane anymore 👍

Why's that top owd blade
Because, unfortunately, a large proportion of our fan base don't like characters, or edgy people, who might stand up, sing, taunt the opposition, scream at the ref and opposing players and, God forbid, encourage those around them to do the same.

'We fear no foe' wasn't it?

I realised the e was missing when I read the thread a little later, I also realised you would correct me 👍
In fact my great grandfather (Ronnie's grandfather) was born as William Sharp in 1861 but for some reason around 1900 he and three of his brothers (Herbert Henry, Elijah and James) had an "e" added to their surname but William's two other bothers (Reuben and Sampson) didnt have an "e" added to their surname.

Didn't think the SRA was around in 1969, thought it was more a 70's thing?, The 60's "firm" were called the Riot Squad, from memory.

At the risk if causing some cataclysmic Blades rift can we have the Shoreham Royalist Army too. Can't be doing with those pesky roundheads.

Ronnie dressed in Clockwork Orange garb. Film from 1971. I guessed correctly that the mask guy was Herman
