I would t have a clue where to start in doing something like that

Haha, the Average watch on YouTube videos is around the 50% mark, so in another way, you could say, for most, the video was really Just 3 minutes and 26 seconds long.

The difference between ‘arrogance’ and ‘confidence’ is easy to define: You just need to wait until about 8pm on Wednesday and then re-watch the vid.
 
For what it’s worth, I took his comments as amusing and confident, not arrogant in the slightest!

Hi Trupix just commenting on your video as a Villa fan.
I blog regular on 3 Aston Villa blogs and have posted your video to all 3. I know Dean Smith sometimes reads them so maybe he might download it for motivation tonight. I would however like to draw you to a few inaccuracies .
The amount spent on players is about £145 million and not £100 million. We do have very rich owners with deep pockets so they can afford it.
As for Smith being crap well yes or let’s say out of his depth.
Generally we have a team of non triers and under performers and most of our signings have been rubbish.
Wes the Brazilian International is stuck in Brazil injured much to our relief. The other Brazilian International Luiz has massive potential but delivers nothing.
Theres about half a dozen others I could bore you with about not pulling their weight.
Mings made his England debut and has gone downhill ever since.
For some inexplicable reason we signed Danny Drinkwater as our saviour !
But as long as we have Jack Grealish in the team we have hope. We just need a few to up their game to help him.
Virtually all Villa fans want Smith gone. John Terry was brought in as Defensive Coach and we have conceded more goals than anyone else.
Tonight will be an interesting game under strange circumstances.
Remember football is a fickle game. Chris Wilder could be gone in a flash if things turn bad.
As for Sheff Utd. I don’t really know much. I can only name one player Billy Sharp.
I can’t think of the last player you had who played for England. Can’t remember the last time you won anything. Can’t recall you ever playing in Europe.
Oh you did have a decent player in the 70s called Tony Currie. Not as good as Grealish though ,

Certainly not as good at throwing himself to the floor buying free kicks for non existent tackles and feigning injury.

Grealish could be a great player if his first instinct wasn’t to fall over and cheat. Shame really.
I‘d be embarrassed if he played for us.

I could even warm to Grealish if he could lose the ball like a man and cut out the theatrics.
In complete contrast to TC who was a strong unit stayed on his feet and did’nt try to pull the refs pants down every time he was challenged.
Jack will be playing for a better team next year anyway and you’ll be visiting our much bigger neighbours in S6.

The Dutch player is really inconsistent and lazy. Hope he’s not playing today. Scores the odd goal but contributes nothing. As for your lot. Well I couldn’t tell you much about the other 3.
I believe Sharp is a bit of a cult figure in your parts but the other 3 no idea.

You’re repeating yourself now. Saying that the video posted was arrogant (I haven’t watched it so can’t comment) and then saying that you’ve only heard of one of our players is a bit silly really.

I don’t mind Villa, seem to be a much better outfit than Birmingham. They are very much a club whose fans live on past glories though. We don’t have any past glories so you’ll win on that one all day.

You seem the type that will be on here giving it the big one if you win so will perhaps see you later.

I’m surprised you haven’t seen the video it’s quite good. Some of your supporters think it’s arrogant. I came on here to comment on the video as a one off. I wanted to reply to it earlier but I only just got clearance from your moderator today.
I won’t be back on here after the match win or lose as this is my only time.
One of the other Villa blog owners is on another thread on here somewhere.
I believe you may have a couple of key injuries that could help us.

If you blog regularly then you’re obviously quite opinionated. I find it odd that people who blog about football claim to know little about players in their rival teams. I think you need to know about other teams in order to have some perspective. We’ve played you five times already over the last three seasons and whilst I couldn’t name your first team off the top of my head, I’m aware of most of your players, and most players in the other PL teams. I don’t consider myself particularly knowledgeable. I’d be a bit embarrassed to blog about football then admit to knowing very little about other teams.

He's a football fan blogger who has apparently never heard of Phil Jagielka, Dean Henderson or John Fleck so he's either 2 years old or just talking complete bollocks.

I think we can file this guy’s posts in the ‘when put downs backfire’ category.
 
I wouldn't take it too offensive that people don't know that many of your players. if we were doing slightly better in the league we'd have time to gaze around us - and further down - and take a passing interest in what's going on. As we're not we're more interested in worrying about ourselves than appreciating others too much. As for how many of your players I could name - its more than one, but not too many - Sharp, henderson, Stevens (ex-villa so should know him, mcburnie, norwood, Freeman (because i put him in my fantasy team and then he never played), is robinson the ex-villa kid still there?, mcgoldrick, fleck, and now I'm struggling.

When we were in the Championship I didn't watch any Prem league football and largely ignored it. A jock mate of mine thought I was on the wind-up because i didn't know who Andy robertson was. If I don't watch premier league stuff, Champs league, (and I wouldn't be paying too much attention to Scotland) I won't have a scoobies about too many players. When we came up I could barely name an everton player and no idea who their manager was.

its just the nature of the beast, i suppose.
 



I’m sorry but Sheffield Utd football club conjure up very little to me and it’s not a team I can think of anything significant happened in recent years.
You‘ve got one of the oldest stadiums in the country and you hate Sheff Wednesday and probably Leeds.
I remember Sean Bean threatening Neil Warnock when he was your manager so he must be a fan. As for your players. Well they’re doing a hell of a lot better than expected as they were not expensive.
You‘ve got some Arab bloke in charge so maybe he’ll invest big bucks.
Anyway I only came on to comment on the Video not have long debates about your club. So job done.

Yes I know he has his faults and made a Pratt of himself during lockdown but he did raise £55k for the NHS by auctioning his shirt.
