As a simple man, I'm a bit confused.

I thought they called Rovrum 'tinpot', but it seems we are too. That has really upset me.

Also, we didn't win Nineteenty-Nil which we should have done, which is also very upsetting.

We are shit, and they are definitely on their way back up. Possibly even to European glory, although that wasn't made entirely clear. In any event, it has upset me a bit more.

Roy's choice of a brilliant Housemartin's track helped a bit, but then again they were Blades, so it doesn't really count.

I love this idea that the new owners are going to sprinkle fairy dust (aka obscene amounts of money), and they will reassume their rightful place at the top table.

We had a very wealthy supporter who couldn't make it work, followed by a Saudi Prince who did a good job but who didn't have deep pockets. The jury is out on the present owners.

Chansiri has been a good owner for them, he's gambled everything he had on getting them promoted, but it hasn't worked out, and he's out of cash. Consequently he's become the devil incarnate.

They MIGHT get a Birmingham or Wrexham owner, but they might not. Clubs get bought and sold all the time and very few owners have the massive impact the fans are expecting. You need a good dose of realism in football, and that's something they're lacking.

Personally I hope they don't get an owner at all, and this is the last derby ever. If that was the case, then winning 3-0 at the old slag is the perfect way for us to put the tin hat on it.

I don't understand how the average age of the bench makes any difference. They're not selected to start are they? Arguably you'd want some youth on the bench if you're chasing the game, experience if you're defending a lead.

They're fishing for any fact to make them seem relevant - the basic fact for them is that they aren't relevant, and won't be for at least two seasons, hopefully more, and really hopefully, forever.
