This thread is heartbreaking

Thats a great read mate .It proves what the pig fans are REALLY thinking .One or two states what Wilder said is true even though they do not like it .

Perspective. ‘They’ are surprised that a former ball boy and ex player who lives in the city, is not only the club manager, but also a fan!

It is just too much to expect a guy who lives in a culvert, under a bridge, to make this post into a series. Are you as entitled and woke as an S6 fan? Poor old Roy.

There is far too much history quoted here. Indulge me on this topic. Suffice it to say, most of this comes from a club and a ground that was once an automatic choice for FA Cup semi finals!

Oh how the once mighty have now fallen!
True I think they are getting to a point where it won't be impossible for them to get back to where they think they should be . Some of their fans complaining that the toilets on Sunday where not working which says volumes about how run down the old rust bucket is .

I CAN'T UNDERSTAND IT ;) He only told them some home truths . They tell us he lacks class . Per haps we should show some class Sheffield 6 style like taking the piss out of Billy after his son died or laughing at the young Sunderland boy who died or perhaps laughing at an away supporter who died in the stands or perhaps taking the piss after George was found dead . Yes very classy . We have the best club the best owners the best ground the best academy the best manager the best team the best training facilities (which are going to get better) ALL TRUE. FACTS ARE NOT LIES . Sooner they accept these Facts THE BETTER THEY WILL FEEL. Not our fault they have been run into the ground .We just sit here and laugh at them .Best entertainment ever ,we should thank them really .🤣🤣🤣
And that pitch !!! Are they planting potatoes in it?

Lovely work Roygbiv yet again, going above and beyond to bring us the reactions that nobody else can!

They don't get it, do they?

Wilders so called rant was not about Sheffield Wednesday, it was about Sheffield United, about how far the football club has come in the last decade using Wednesday as the benchmark.

If pig fans want to pick a point from his post match, it was about how Wednesday have gone backwards to then come back with the best manager ever seen in the history of the globe.... only to sit in midtable. Even with the 2 points deduction, we're 29 points ahead, with 24 to play for. With 8 games to go, they can't catch us and they'd be hard pushed to reach the play offs, though that is still possible for now.

Wilder was talking about the pain as a Blade of seeing Wednesday streets ahead, it was about being a Blade and seeing us so far behind our rivals to then putting a double over our rivals.

Lets be right, our season wasn't about the derby games, it was and is about getting back into the top two. Something Wednesday haven't been close to in this division for quite a while... They have to hark back to League one play off finals to get any sense of joy from Youtube. They have to go back to the Sheridan ping off the post for real senses of winning, not scraping through. And yes they were enviable times. We still did the double over them in those times. It was our cup final, really.

Wilder recognises where our club has come, he complimented Wednesday for being better previously and for years...

If anything that rant was a benchmark of not just where the club has come from and is compared to Wednesday, but also how in a period of less than 10 years we've used our academy in the right way and we're trying to establish ourselves not only at the top of this division but the Premier League.

Wilder needs a new benchmark, perhaps Forest the next target

The one on that thread of there's who's constantly whining about wilder taking credit for 'inheriting a quality squad in league 1'.... Wonder if he thought that back then (oh and he signed a whole new squad more or less).

Then says the Ramsdale, DCL and Brooks sales on our journey were... down to Neil Warnock!!

Wednesday once won the League Cup, 34 years ago. Teams that have matched this achievement: Oxford, Middlesbrough, Swansea, Birmingham, Luton, Blackburn. That's more their level.
Once we've steadied the ship as a Premier League side I really hope we turn our full attention to winning the League Cup asap. It's a competition I don't care about in the slightest but wouldn't it be good for them not to even have that one crumb of comfort to hold on to any more.

Why not?

Straw clutching intensifies...

In all seriousness though, if we'd lost, I'd likely have had a moan about it on here during Sunday, then spent the 2 weeks to the Cov game ignoring the existing of football as a concept.

The fact that they are still going on, I find almost impressive in a weird way. Their dedication to finding something, anything, that makes them come out of this smelling of roses, is something to behold.

They're still shite though.

Typical Wednesdayite comments they just can't help themselves one even sees them as pushing for a top six Premier League spot ............... that is if they ever get there again. Total delusions of grandeur are still alive in their fan base, they gunna do this they gunna do that they could do this they could do that all fkin gob the lot of them.

Our lass has quite a few grunters on her side of the family no surprise most of them live Parson Cross way thankfully a good 25 miles away from us. Last week they were all over social media saying what they were going to do and posting a picture of one of the kids dressed in full pig uniform (no wonder they couldn't get her to smile) poor little bugger. Don't know where they have all got to now unless the internet is still down in S6 I'm loving it that they have been put back in their box with the lid nailed down.

Pig fans are a different breed even when it is spelt out to them in Wilders excellent post match interview that any success they have had has been bought whilst we have earned the success we have had through hard work and years of building up our academy they still try to turn it into we are obsessed with them and their glorious history.

Older, bigger, better.

Well, let’s address those points in reverse order, shall we?

Better. Maybe once, but not now. If in doubt, see the league table.

Bigger. Again, maybe once. But if it’s in terms of how relevant a team is nowadays then surely it has to be the one that’s actually played in the top flight recently, finishing ninth a few years ago, rather than the one that’s not troubled the top flight for most of this century.

Older. Is this really something to brag about?
“How did you get on with Margot Robbie the other night?” “Well, I gave her the elbow and fucked her that plays Pat Butcher off of Eastenders instead. She’s older, see?” “Hang on, isn’t she lesbidocious?” “Nah, she’s bifocal.”

Older isn’t always a good thing, to pick a random example, an old football ground that’s not had money spent on it for so long that parts of are closed off on safety grounds.

I am not sure why the pigs are up in arms with wilders speech to the union. from what I heard he as very complimentary of Wednesday before things derailed, for them. Bigger better ground, better players, more fans, with more success on the pitch. very complimentary of them in the past. all he was stating was how they have gone backwards and we have gone forwards, which to anyone who has a single brain cell can see that with out any prompting. He even said the pendulum would swing back their way in due course.

Get a grip PIG fans

they better start selling tissues with the deludamol at least they will not be short on salt for a while!

"CW gets rattled by us—proper wound up by Wednesday fans, by DR, by us just existing, really"

Chris Wilder - clearly a man rattled by the existence of Sheffield Wednesday fans:

Reminds me of the way they abused Leon Clarke in 2017 when the team was arriving, calling him wensdy reject. That didn't work out too well for them either 🤣

They are quite irrelevant despite being such a massive club. Internationally almost nobody knows that they even exists. United are always called just "Sheffield" as people only know about one club from Sheffield.
