It’s the most sensible thing I’ve read from their fans ever! You could almost feel sorry for them. Almost. I mean, there is a strange rewriting of history, in that when Wilder took over we had millions of pounds worth of Academy talent to barter with, and that after 6 seasons in the third tier we weren’t in any sort of financial trouble. This isn’t what I recall them saying at the time, when it was all “Poundland Prince” and “Pub League”. They were laughing at our financial state and lording over us their moneybags owner spunking his cash on wannabes.

Incredible. Are they saying they put themselves on par with the likes of Villa, Everton and Newcastle? One of those clubs averages more than 50,000. Another has won the European Cup. The other has won the top division 9 times.

Wednesday once won the League Cup, 34 years ago. Teams that have matched this achievement: Oxford, Middlesbrough, Swansea, Birmingham, Luton, Blackburn. That's more their level.
Don't forget they once played in Europe (for not very long). No body is allowed to forget that

I like the guy downplaying Wilder's achievements here, claiming "he inherited a squad too good for League One". They live in an alternate universe.

Was only 5/6 years ago their legendary chairman had em all going bandy when he suggested none of our players would get in their side.

Suppose it was ok back then.....

Also that he 'only ever looks at top two' well he's spent some some time looking at us since then.

The win was a great feeling, but Wilder making them realise their predicament without gloating or goading them was a master class.
One of the deluded on RS tonight suggesting that Wilders speech would galvanise Rhol into staying 'to finish the job'

😂 😂

Ten more days of this - brilliant.

Cheers Roy..

Wednesday logic 101.

Everyone: "Which of these buildings is the biggest? A. The small house, or B. The skyscraper."

1000064619.webp

Wednesday fans: "A. The small house."

Everyone: "Now why is that?"

Wednesday fans: "You're just jealous because A is bigger and you know it. God you lot are bitter and can't handle it can you. Deluded Pigs. You'll always be in our shadow."

To add, they should be focusing on their shithole of a club. Within the last day or two threads over on porktalk include-

-tickets being sent to the wrong away club
-no hot water in their toilets
-comments of how their ground is fucked and still retains posters from their prem days
-the club asking corporates for payments for next season within 7days or pay higher prices.

It’s absolutely bonkers what’s going on over there and they have the audacity to comment on us 🤣 TINPOT.

LONG LIVE KING CHANSIRI

I'm starting to wonder if Röhl is all that anyway. Let's face it, he's got a mid table Championship squad to mid table in the Championship and the supposed über tacticians genius ploy on Sunday was to play hoofball

(Cheers again Roy)

That thread’s a good un, with only the odd deludamol addled poster chipping in. I can’t say my heart is breaking though!

Thing is, although anyone with an ounce of knowledge agrees Chansiri has been instrumental in their continued demise, it is Wilder’s interview(s) that created this depth of clarity and soul-searching. Bouncing day shifted the narrative, ‘their season’s done’ day has added a lovely new chapter.

Another pleasing thing is that, despite that lot clinging in to ‘class’ as their only response, any neutral channels I’ve come across who have mentioned it have loved Wilder’s interview, e.g. ntt20 (from about 6 mins):

They are the gift that keeps on giving .. I just can’t be arsed to try & put out a counter argument up to ppl that are still living in the early 90’s and have become so far removed from rational thought .. I love it because while ever these deluded wankers have that mind set they’ll continue to drag their club down with expectations way beyond their capabilities .. long may it continue.. UTB ⚔️

theyve a sense of entitlement that they should be the dominant club in the city and its eating them up that their not and never will be while tunapig controls their club all their clinging on to is their so called 'massive' status and that only ever happens in sheffield derbies or play off games when 10/15k of em come out of the cupboard attendance f.c. should be their new name their obsessed witb it

They even exaggerate the time spent out of the prem.

25 years isn't it.

The first RoysView was pretty balanced and fair. This one is just deluded and pathetic. Wilder being jealous of them makes me laugh. There's no jealousy. He hates Wednesday because he's a United fan. It wouldn't matter if they were Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two, National League, above us or below us. He'd still always hate them because he's a Sheffield United.

Since they fell out of the Premier League a quarter century ago they have finished below us in more than 75% of the seasons. We've been back to the Premier League three times and are in line to head back there again, not to mention the play off failures along the way. What have they achieved in that time? But we're the deluded ones. 😂

Tell ya summat though, away from all the bullshit and peacocking and excuses over the past couple of days on social media...

That thread highlights that majority of em actually get it... and agree with wilder... and agree they are no longer the club they were, they're a mess.

It would be a sad tale if it wasn't them lot lolz

Yes its finally sinking in just how far behind us they really are
Theres a couple that still think they are a 'big club' I just dont understand why it matters to them
They are a mid table Championship club in reality
Live in the real world FFS

I love having them as our rivals. They are truly a bonkers fan based and it's absolutely brilliant to see how they play out losing to us again. Comedy gold they are. This a particular highlight:

"I’ve never known any Wednesday manager give much of a flying fizz about United. They are as relevant as Tranmere Rovers"

Yeah cause if you'd lost to Tranmere you'd be making that comment and all the other comments two days later wouldn't you?

Brilliant stuff.

Every comment reeks of the Pitsmoor pig. Did he write them all? Utter garbage.

Perspective. ‘They’ are surprised that a former ball boy and ex player who lives in the city, is not only the club manager, but also a fan!

It is just too much to expect a guy who lives in a culvert, under a bridge, to make this post into a series. Are you as entitled and woke as an S6 fan? Poor old Roy.

There is far too much history quoted here. Indulge me on this topic. Suffice it to say, most of this comes from a club and a ground that was once an automatic choice for FA Cup semi finals!

Oh how the once mighty have now fallen!
