The complaint I'd have about that lot of remarks is that most of them are far too negative about their own team's chances. Yes, they were pretty awful but they're on a bad run following that destruction at Man City. Having said that they're also reliant on the likes of Gray and Welbeck to score for them and they've never been prolific.

That's the point, though. They, we, and the other teams trying to get enough points to stay up, don't actually need to score many goals. What you do need to make sure of is that you don't concede too many, that's been proven time and time again. At least that side of our game is pretty solid, even though today we coughed up three glorious chances to a side that weren't even trying to get forward. But in general terms I'm happy with where we are as a side.

I expect Watford to improve, but like most fans they're trapped in a downward spiral of depression. One win and they'll claim they're aiming for Europe.

As for the game, I fully expect it to get completely bumped from Match of the Day as to show it will surely tarnish the EPL brand.

This is so true and will be noticed more & more by other teams, they really are letting the side down, all four of them far too poor at this level.

Not fully sure how it actually works but believe January we can drop some deadwood? cut losses & spend on a couple or at least one decent striker? Can’t the Arab put his hand in his pocket? Hope so!

Our defence, midfield & Henderson are amazing but could easily be in the top 8 with some quality up top...... Frustrating 1st league problems.

On the plus side we've given them some false hope. After back to back defeats without scoring, they've finally kept a clean sheet. Unfortunately for them it wasn't because they defended so well, it was because we were so toothless and devoid in attack. We made their defence look good without giving them anything to do.

Watford will be back to losing next week and one relegation place is pretty much looking filled already. Norwich look like they want another one of the places, so let's hope we're not eyeing up the other. If we don't start finding a way to create and score chances then we could well be keeping them both company by the end of the month.

I wouldn't put Norwich in that position just yet, they have an horrendous injury list at the moment.

I see Watford as a significantly smaller club than ours, yet they feel entitled to walk all over us. Having said that they’re not that bad. Defence rock solid and a very good striker to come back from injury. I’ll be delighted to finish above them.
