One thing that seems to have gone unnoticed from last night's match from both sets of fans was that the game contained no time wasting, no dirty tackles, no snidey tackles, no diving, no feigning injury and a will from both sides to get on with it and win the fucking thing. I though I'd stepped back 50 years in time. Credit to both sides.

Agree wholeheartedly. I said exactly this to a Villa fan at work, today.

Really enjoyed last night (until minute 90, obvs).

Blimey. Did I really just read all that praise from another club's supporters?

Wilder might have reacted to defeat with grace, but those Villa supporters have acted with grace in victory.

I was fuming and exasperated at the defeat (probably more so because of the late goal), but that has softened it a tiny bit.

Villa were never really down in my estimations, but they’ve just gone up.
Sensible, honest & relevant comments all round - and we’ve been calling him Wilder all this time.
