Cheers Royston!!

Mardy cunts aren't they, must be all that time in Newcastles shadow!!?

Mackems have always been bitter. I remember in the 90's when we beat them 1-0 at Roker, Jock Bryson scored, I was in the press box and the Mackem hacks were having a go at me then, because I shouted 'come on Blades' or something. It was that one where Glynn Hodges twatted Kevin Ball as the players were going down the tunnel, right in front of us, and the mackem hacks started jostling and pushing Andy Pack, until we shouted to leave him the fuck alone. My mate who was with me said "One of them shouted 'Riot!' I thought he'd seen one, not that he was trying to start one" 😂 ( (c) FATTYFOULKE ) Cue a banging night out in Newcastle later that evening. Remember that mate? I've only just recovered from the hangover. 🤣

I’d be salty too in their position. But at times like these it really is best to put the internet down and reflect on the fact that games are decided in front of goal.

They’re an impressive side - young, quick, well coached and play with real intensity. Getting there on a championship budget isn’t easy - I wonder if they’ll gamble in January?
They’re a good side and it was a hard fought win. No “battering” either way. But let them spout their shite and go on a rimming mission on pigtalk

The only good thing I can say about their fans is that they didn’t feel the need to sign up to this forum and tell us how good they think they are, unlike another cunty recent opponent.

I expected a more balanced view from their fans.
Anyway f@ck em! Glad we spoilt their weekend 😊

Cry some more. Love reading these comments. Sunderland were the best team in the first half but failed to score. We changed it by bringing on Seriki, who helped shut down Watson and give us more threat down the right. It looked to me like they put in a massive shift in the first half, but they were not really pressing us in the second. They only troubled our makeshift defence with a few scrappy set pieces. If you don't score, you don't deserve to win. So tough tit Mackems.

Seen a few mention their manager refused to shake hands with Wilder what was his problem??

Cheers Roygbiv one of the best view from's this season, I had to read it again today just to make sure they were as salty as I thought last night. Battered us my arse both teams had periods in the ascendancy in a fairly even game. We can certainly play better than that but I'm not sure Sunderland can, seems their fans are best friends with the pigs looking at some of the comments, anyway fuck em.

No wonder Newcastle laugh at these idiots. Nothing in the game and a draw would have been ok for both sides .
I wonder if their mummy's had changed the straw for them when they got home?

Wow, Wendy levels of bitterness and victim mentality.

Deludamol sales are not just confined to S6 then.

Good to see though 😂

Cheers Roy.

More salt than the salt flats of Utah. I thought they looked really good on the counter but apart from that didn’t really create anything meaningful ( tbf neither side did goal apart). Watching the extended highlights it’s remarkable how little Super Cooper had to do ( he even made the penalty save look routine). They were the better side first half and we were better in the second and, for me, were the only side likely to score. UTB

On TV it cut to Wilder & Le Bris and looked like Le Bris was starting on the 4th official while Wilder looked angry about something and could see him mouthing the words "...four minutes...". So I assume Le Bris thought it wasn't enough and Wilder probably making the point that they ended up playing well over 5 minutes additional?

Salty bunch that wasted so much play and couldn’t finish, yet again. They’re on quite a run of blowing a good start to their season

And as for parachute payments, didn’t they waste theirs, as well as all the money from Netflix in such spectacular fashion that they went down to league one and stayed there a while….

I can understand Oxford bringing up the parachute payments but not Sunderland. Trying to play with the bigger boys having previously failed so badly to remain in the bigger boys league

On that note, one thing that is to Sunderland's credit is their undying hatred of Coventry City.

Pig levels of delusion. They battered us did they? Well the stats tell a different story.

So suck on my big juicy lemons to sour Smoggy Bastards, and hope your team gets some shooting practice next week.

Match stats, courtesy of the Beeb
Blades/Sunderland

Possession - 49.9/50.1
Shots - 14/16
Shots on target - 4/2
Shots of Target - 4/6
Blocked shots - 6/8
Touches in opponents box - 21/39
GK saves - 2/3
Fouls - 12/8
Corners - 8/8

That's a very fair contest in any reasonable person's mind. They looked silkier on the ball and I don't think anyone would argue they had the first half. But if you can't convert a penalty in such a tight contest you only have yourselves to blame. The 2nd half however was ours, especially the last 30 mins. We created the two best chances from open play in the whole match, Siriki's shot and the Davies goal.
Exactly mate. The stats back that up no matter what the wannabe Geordies will say.

And another thing… most teams thank the fans after the game, we chose to start at John street and work the way round to the tunnel. Others do that German thing of waving their arms like fannies whilst the crowd react and cheer to each waving.

But last night was special, Tom Davies has had a tough time with injuries and to come back in and score like that he deserved the praise he was given

Awwww

TBF if you talk to most Newcastle and Middlesbrough fans they will tell you they're exactly like pig fans, the self entitlement is massive "they should be in the EPL because they all want/need us there"
My grandfather was a Geordie so I have some contact with family up there

Awwww
A rival fan sucking them off. God they're lapping that thread up 🤣

Awwww
Couldn’t believe how shite the coach parking was last night, they were all over the streets between the Lane and London Rd. Load of coppers stood about doing nothing pre match whilst traffic was chaos

Awwww

Bit weird, same Wednesday that had a fan trying to mock Sunderland with the death of a child?

Awwww

Bit like that Coventry throbber last week saying he preferred the pigs yet forgetting the whole racist abuse of one of their players by wednesday fans.

None of it makes sense.
