We are a powerful powerful football club, even Wilder says so, so I think we'll have too much for them

Wtaf is that?!
The point was the whistles and tennis balls only seemed to appear when we were attacking..
That’s not our fault though, did that protest even do anything? Doug King only took over a year or two ago?
Yeah I've heard this before but realistically everyone wanted the game abandoned and no one would have been bothered if it gave an automatic 3-0 victory to Sheffield United. In fact, that would have been a more powerful result.
It was evident in the ground though, a proportion were clearly more interested in "protesting" during certain passages of play than others.
Contrast that with the Charlton protest during our game, which was well publicised and saw their fans also handing out the "missiles" to Blades outside and explaining that it was nothing personal and going to happen at "X point" to try to get coverage but not effect the overall game.
Shove ya whistles up ya arse.
Can't remember Lavery hitting the post twice with 2 identical shots:
They also decided to omit the tennis balls that stopped playThis highlights really well when their fans chose to whistle and when they didn't.
As discussed 100's times already, hard to show any sympathy from that point.

Not just black players (and managers) they've been caught abusing- footballers who died tragically, child cancer victims- all because they were involved with other clubs. One of the silly things said on here.
Respect is always given to Sheffield United. But if you want to talk about Sheffield Wednesday? The neanderthals backing their side are a totally different matter. They give Sheffield a bad name. And the football authorities let them get away with it every time. A bit of banter is always welcome from most clubs. It's a part of football in the UK. But they're nothing but scum. Imagine being a black player for that lot and having to watch and listen to what they come out with to their opponents players.

Exactly my point. They do as they like with no comeback. The part I don't understand is how they can abuse black players and not think about their own black players. I just don't understand the mentality of them. Not just black players (and managers) they've been caught abusing- footballers who died tragically, child cancer victims- all because they were involved with other clubs.
Also seem to recall "I'd rather be a p*ki than a Blade" getting some traction from their support well into the 00s...
Well it's 1 more than you have
Yes after we’d been in the ascendency before you did the tennis ball thing. We needed to win to go top of the table (I think) and the timing of the protests - similar to the timing of the whistling that has been mentioned above - was convenient for Coventry. So yes us scoring after the tennis ball thing seemed a huge piece of justice. The weird thing is that I am pretty sure you scored just after the tennis ball thing
I doubt you'd be any different if protesting at a match, it's only natural to do it when the other team has got the ballYes after we’d been in the ascendency before you did the tennis ball thing.
