I don’t feel for them one bit, we were the same in League 1 thinking we were big time and should win every game 10-0. Be humble and work hard every day and you get what you deserve, it took CW and AK to show us that and a reminder at Barnet just in case we were to forget!
 
They should be thanking their lucky stars they got a point, we should have won that game. As for their manager, well we fell for one of those one time big star players last time ( Has it ever worked ?) we came down in 2007 and it's took us till now to get back. ….
 

Some fans have said nice things about us but on the whole Chelsea fans & London fans in general, really do have an "We're better than you" complex. In all my life there have been only 3 Londoners I have loved, that's me mum, nan & granddad.

They just have an arrogance all of their own I wouldn't mind but London is a complete shithole, about 7 years ago me & wife went to Bournemouth for two weeks on way down we had to stop at Victoria coach station. it looked worse than what it did in the very early 70's, good god it was horrible we couldn't wait to leave. In about 68-69 me mum tried to make a go of it again with natural favver, we moved to Tottenham when I told people I came from Sheffield EVERYONE had never heard of the place or knew where it was.

Whenever we've been on weekends away there, been pleased to get back away from the place.
Having said that central Paris etc is similar.

How have we got the nerve to go there and not roll over and give them the 3,4 or 5 goals they justifiably expected?

We’re just a Championship side who should be grateful to be on the same pitch as them. To actually go and give them a game is taking the piss a little too far.

Wish I could do a double like for the album cover, Escape.
When at uni in the 80’s we had a “space” theme hall party and that album cover was one we reproduced on a massive scale. It looked fantastic. Great album too (although fucked over by that shit programme “Glee”)

Just... I guess there are Unitedites who would laugh at Wednesday (they are fucking good value for it at the moment) but I don't know a single Blade who uses the phrase 'tinpot' unless repeating what a Wednesday fan has said and worst this and worst that is like a gnome laughing at giants because they are stooping a little with age.

To be fair Ram will know the in joke about this. Besides being a Chelsea fan he follows the EFL closely. He was on Beans pod in the week and also interacts with Blades Analytics regularly. Before the game he was very wary about our overlapping CB as well as knowing that Wilder was far superior to FL on the tactical side of the game.
