Doesn’t sound like The Shed back in the day, though.....

On the contrary, I thought the Shed today at Chelsea was as vibrant, loud, and as passionate as it used to be back in the seventies.

Mind u, back in the 60s/70s/80s it was the traditional hostile home end at SB. These days, it's where the away fans are sat. We literally took the piss today and 'took the Shed end'.

Can't get my head round that tbh. It's like us developing the Lane and putting the away fans on the Shoreham Street Kop. Just wrong.

Mostly fair comments, and in fairness for a club that has won premier leagues and europa cups, has the global power they have to attract players etc, they have a bit of justification I’m complaining about that team and performance.
Some comments were a bit arrogant but on the whole I thought very fair and acknowledged our control of the second half and their inability to break us down.

Two different Chelsea fans made a point of coming up to us and saying how well we'd played and thoroughly deserved the point. No moaning about them being bad, just very impressed with how we played in the second half at 2-0 down. Third visit to Stamford Bridge, first one I've enjoyed!!

We were praised by a Chelsea fan when leaving the stadium too. Different story travelling to and from the match. Chelsea fans attitude was that they just had to turn up to get the three points. Told them what ever the result they’d know they’d been in a game! Generally, couldn’t accept the fact they’d thrown away a two goal start - but all due to their poor second half performance and poor managerial decisions. Nothing to doing with a well-drilled, hard -working Sheffield United TEAM outplaying them for 49 minutes in the second half!
