I do (or more accurately did) play to a professional level. I always thought I could know and learn more musically. Like football, the paying customer opinion is more important than expert punters. They may have the knowledge to analyse and critique, but they don't pay the rent. You do what you do and hope it's liked and successful.

For proof of this you just have to witness the absolute nonsense spouted on a regular basis by pundits who spent their pro careers at the top of the game, whereas someone like Colin Murray talks with real insight despite having never been a pro at all.

We're always moaning about lacking something up front but still manage to be up there with the best of them when it comes to goals scored.
I think what people see is that we create an enormous number of "situations" that look like they should result in efforts on goal but often don't and that makes us look as though we're not scoring as many as our play deserves.

Like every team that plays ‘fucking go for it’ all out attacking football. How many good chances did Spurs miss against Chelsea? How many do Man City or Liverpool miss? Loads. And they’ve got world class forwards.

If anyone gets frustrated with us, I suggest watching any of the above but pretending they’re United, or you’ve got £1k on them winning, and see how frustrating some of their misses are.
