Watching on TV it wasn't a penalty - just outside the area - and it was just McNulty's goal.

Wont make a difference Bookmakers settle bets based on who the PA give the goal to, any subsequent changes do not count

Let's face it, if it had been clearly in the box the ref. would have waved it away. Penalty? Don't be silly. Kicking the ball away (twice)? Play on.

I thought it was too close and central to get the ball up and over the wall. Harris did the bang right thing (in fact, I fancied a ground-skimmer aimed at the legs of the players in the wall.)

One of 'those nights' at the Lane. We didn't tear into them and deny them any time - their superior fitness would have counted against us later in the game. It was a fantastically calm, controlled display where we still had enough in the tank to keep them busy defensively right to the end so we weren't penned in and hanging on.

Excellent stuff.

From the kop it looked outside, just.

The Harris freekick was excellent, but their wall fell apart. Forster didnt deal with the freekick at all and it was the only thing he did wrong all game. Not sure what he could've done with it to be fair as it was hammered right at him and he couldn't get down quickly enough to push it away out of danger, great anticipation by McNulty to get there before i went over the line. Or before the other two or three players got to it!

Foxy if McNulty hadn't got it then it wouldve been an own goal!

Last thing, what was the confrontation with their players after the goal? Not sure what sparked that

No, it was definitely Murphy's. I had a bet on Murphy to score in a 1-0 win for us at 70 to 1:-( but don't care a jot, we won!

Great anticipation by McNulty to get there before i went over the line.

I didn't spot your on the pitch Swiss - you really are the international man of mystery.

Anyway, the more I watch that free kick, the better it gets. Really well struck, low and precise. McNuts was perfectly placed for the rebound, although if he had missed it there were 2 other Blades there ready to mop up. Yes, Forster could have done better (he was very good throughout the game), but equally it's understandable that he didn't stop it. Wonderful stuff
