I'm not doubting our inability to win the next 4 games, i'm just doubting whether or not Leeds will actually drop 3 points or more within the next 4 games.

If they don't drop any points then what's the point in us being optimistic? :D

We need to pick up and start playing how we can regardless.

Four wins and four solid performances will either get us up, or give us huge confidence for the play offs.

More performances like against Bristol City and Millwall and we'll be fucking dreading them.

My boss is a Leeds fan, he said yesterday that they always let us down .... sound familiar?

He doesn’t see 4 straight wins, he’s relying on us not winning..

They normally bottle it way before this point - they haven't done so far and so I still don't think they will bottle it.

But that's just my opinion

I think you’re opinion is sound, mine is based on hope and the pressure that is obvious in all top three teams at the moment..

Not sure why what teams have done in the past has anything to do with the present? Unless you're saying it's the fans as they are the only constant

I'm not - the previous post I mentioned says that "Leeds always let us down" - i'm just trying to counter the argument that the past shouldn't be relied on

I am sure that Wilder is annoyed about the injuries, suspension and general negativity of the fans.We all know that we can still mathematically achieve automatic promotion, however, the sense of doom and gloom is more to do with our current form than anything else.If we can change things around in the remaining games, then obviously we still have a good chance,we know that, the problem is that a lot of us don't think we can !!

Why does it matter that we don't think we can do it? Time to put that in box for a month. Black dog

It’s not about being optimistic. It’s about regret. What if we don’t win our next four but neither do Leeds? All we can do is to keep putting pressure on them. If we win our last four, we can’t do any more. What would be a poor end to the season would be if we just give up now, then Leeds lose. Anyway, we need momentum if we’re going into the playoffs.

The players need to dust themselves off and go again. So do the fans.

“If they don’t drop any points”.... then the games must be in the past. So optimism and pessimism are irrelevant concepts.

If you’re so certain Leeds will win all four, lump on it. I think they’ll drop points, but it’s unlikely we’ll take 12.

With all due respects to CW, he can say the moon is made out of cheese and Brexit will be sorted to everyone's satisfaction, it doesn't make it so. Nor does the fans fully backing his position make it any more realistic an occurrence. We've won 2 points from BrizzleBrumWall, and it's put us behind the 8 Ball, so to speak, at just the wrong time of the season. We're 3 influential men down for the next match, and have a tricky 3 games thereafter. Things might be beyond us come Monday evening. I fear that the only thing that can stop Leeds taking 2nd spot is an outbreak of dysentery in LS1. :(

Exactly.

For me this isn’t about whether Leeds will drop points or not, they will

I just can’t see how we’re going to win 4 on the bounce. Since the International Break we’ve looked nothing more than mid table.

seriously? Wigan are fighting for their lives and only a disallowed Leon goal that wasn't offside prevented them beating Norwich, Brentford are good at home and can beat anyone on their day and Villa are Villa and are on a roll. i'd be astonished if they won every game. if they do then fair play to them.
