Interesting comment from Wilder
"#sufc boss CW says the new loan deals for Hogan and Clarke are not “with a view to permanent” transfers because of the ongoing ownership battle at the club preventing some longer term planning."
It shows he is only planning for the short term at the moment rather than medium to long term

Happy with what he has said if we go up (big if )are hogan and clarke players we need to keep
Perhaps re: incomings, but the moves to secure our better players to longer contracts are hardly short-term.
And still nothing about contracts for Duffy and Coutts.
Duffy may well trigger an appearance based extension, but Coutts has no chance here, even if one exists.
Shame.

The ownership comment is interesting..
Didn’t stop us last window signing permanent deals and why would it stop us now?.....unless the situation is close to resolve and new investment for a better standard of player is a real possibility
Probably has no idea as to his summer budget with the court case coming up in May.The ownership comment is interesting..

Odd that Wilder doesn't seem to be aware that Dean Henderson has signed a new deal with us. You thought he would've mentioned it.

We had the Brooks money coming in. Now we’ve spent most of it so we can’t afford big transfer fees. The ownership comment is interesting..

Was there a dispute last season.Probably didn't stop us last season cos we were signing the likes of Leonard and Holmes.
That one passed me by ……. I must have missed us spending the Brookes money …..

Is that because you only think its been spent if it goes on transfer fees?

I guess you missed that court case where McCabe and Prince Andrex said they’re not putting any money in too. That one passed me by ……. I must have missed us spending the Brookes money …..

Hogan can't be with a view to a permanent deal because Villa will want most of their money back, and even if we're in the Premier League we won't be spending £10-12 million on anybody
