I would say he is praying for a win on Saturday, the starting eleven really have to start the game on the front foot to get the crowd behind them, if they don't it could turn nasty very quickly no matter how positive he wants us to be.

I think the real reason is that we can't afford whoever these three players are, as in paying a transfer fee, but we can pay a percentage towards their wages. The parent clubs will hold out for what they think the players are worth, which is obviously beyond our means.

Yes, right Nigel. We didn't loan these players during the transfer window when we could have kept them to the end of the season, but we're going to loan them when it's too late for us to make the play-offs so they can play in the play-offs it will be too late to make.

Utter twaddle.
 
Would we be allowed three more loan players in the match day squad, on top of the ones we already have ? That would make six in total ? Anyone know the regs on this ?

I read today that Coventry are unlikely to sign any more on loan because they already have six players who are on loan. Looks like you are right that six is the maximum

I don't think there's a limit to how many you can sign but there is a limit to how many you can have in your matchday squad. By the way barnsley must have a fair No also.at least six maybe more?.
