So lets get this straight, you are basically saying that when one of ours are booed the players think that affects their performance in a negative way? I personally think that the players don't give two fucks over the booing and if anything will make them want to play better. Alternatively, the fans could just say well done chaps and not expect anything else from them and basically let the players have a free ride at this great club.
I don't boo because it just doesn't sound right but I would never stop anyone from doing it themselves.
You could say the booing in the first half on Tuesday helped the players put a better shift in the second half, afterall, we did play better. Well done to our fans![]()
So you think it's OK for people to boo them, although you don't do it because it "just doesn't sound right".
I've been supporting this team for nearly 50 years and have never booed them. It has never, and would never, occur to me to boo them. And I'd go so far to say that real fans should never boo their team. I feel that strongly about it.
I know we all have different opinions and some people approach the whole business of supporting the Blades from a positive point of view, others less positive (to say the least), but I don't think there's ever any justification for booing the players.
