I just hope their "in the knowers" are as clued up as ours are.Could the "really close" one, be Hammond?
On the Leicester fans forum today
"...Apparently this is back on. Trained with Utd this morning..."
To be fair, for a League 1 team especially, we must be on the cusps of it.I have never known any club turn out the FFP excuse as much as us.

So Adkins is claiming FFP is holding us back despite the rules of FFP saying otherwise.
The obvious conclusion there being that the owners of the club are limiting the funds.
So in effect Adkins has just confirmed, in a round about way that the board are restricting his transfer business.

As with any business - you have to cut your cloth accordingly.
If FFP/SCMP is the main issue is restricting the recruitment of NA's targets (& not players' current clubs not playing ball as previously stated!) then the answer is simple - do all you can to free-up some room. The obvious answer is to loan-out a number of players on the periphery and outside the normal match day squad (if/when fit) whose salaries count towards it i.e. Long (use Willis as sub and being in an emergency loan if required), McEveley, Alcock, Scougall, McNulty, Cuvelier, Woolford, McFazdean (?), de Giralomo (?) to enable fewer i.e. 2-3 higher quality replacements (GK, CB, CM) to be brought-in. Of course, very few clubs would be willing & able to fully fund their full salaries and Utd may well need to subsidise them in part but it should still be possible to lighten the overall wage bill by £15-20/week to allow signings to be made.
Whilst many will wonder how we're on the cusp of FFP/SCMP limits considering our attendances and other income streams, the truth remains that we have a large squad costing a lot of money. Case in point is Cuvelier on £6/week

Harris and Flynn to step up their recovery in Under 21s this week, any idea where this game is? Not on the fixtures!

Cuntvilier isn't worth 6 quid a week so thats a waste of a wage.

The one that states an owner of a club in league one is not restricted to the amount of money they can invest.Which rule contradicts this?
I think it's his ever-so-hilarious new joke that didn't get any bites the other day either.Would you feel pleased if he read that?
Why are you so bitter? It's a conclusion I've been aware of for a while, and also a conclusion I was aware that many others were aware.By "limiting the funds", do you mean not putting anymore money in? Because if you do, thats a "conclusion" many of us, I believe including you, have been aware of for a while.
But if you can dress it up as if its something new you have just stumbled across, good on you.
Its spelt 'Cuvelier'.

#sufc James Wallace groin injury - Clough was defo saying this last year and its the 3rd or 4th time NA has said it - pay him off and get shut - waste of a wage.
Do they allow internet access in the physio's room or is it banned as there's a worry Cuvelier or Wallace would get radiation sickness as a result?

Haven't you got some accounts to read? After all, you're the only one capable of it.
