Reading between the lines, we seem to have the option to terminate Adkins' contract if we don't make the play-offs. So, if the players want him to stay, they just need to win the next 6 games.

Presumably, if by some miracle we do make the play-offs, then it changes the whole situation.

It will be interesting to see if the Walsall 'form' continues.

It's more than likely the players were aware of the 'play off spot at the very least' clause in Adkins contract and have performed accordingly since August. Certain players that have been farmed out may have been quite vocal to get the guy sacked. Total disrespect throughout the club.
