He just seemed to have become lazy.

The problem is with blades, we are far too loyal to some players.
Because Kabba was great a few years ago, we think we should keep him.
The fact is though, of recent times in which he has played he has been poor.
Even when he was scoring in the first half of last season he was not playing particulary well, and was being a lazy striker again.
But you know, I'm the same with certain players. I suppose deep down we harbour hopes they will be what they used to be.
If we could have Kabba back to the performances he used to do, I would keep him. But in this instance I'm a realist and realise it will not work out with us. So if we get a fair price I will be happy, and thank him for his services.

I can't see us getting anywhere near 2 million for Kabba, his lack of form for the best part of a year coupled with his injury problems hardly make him a hot propperty.
On a good day his pace makes him a massive threat and he has, at times, been fantastic for us.
I just think that those times are too few and far between and it's time for a change. I expect us to get half a million and if he goes to a championship side i think he may be able to ressurect his career.

I'm glad Akinbiyi's on that list, but not so glad Shipperley's on that list. 
I could also say that some blades forget about kabbas abilty and just dont like him for what he said after the leeds game.
Very very sad to see kabba and ifill on that list, i feel both are quality players. Both have helped us to get here and neither have ever got the credit they deserve from a large majorty of the fans.
Selling kabba will turn out to be another billy sharp, mark my words. (sell on cheap, scores for fun after etc)

I think it's fair to the players to let them move on if they are not going to get into the team. Sometimes players need a change.
I hope they both do well and score lot's of goals in the future.

Sharpy may be right about Ifill and Kabba, but they are not performing right now so we need somebody here who will perform now. Also I am glad we are going to hang on to Li Tie.

Agreed. I was very suprised to see Ifill and Kabba on that list. I feel they can offer more to the club but I guess Warnock can't guarantee them 1st team football all the time bit like with Billy Sharp so maybe tis the right time for them to leave as their attidude hasn't been great of late.Sharpy said:

Rather see akinbiyi go than Kabba but i suppose i cant really see a place for kabba anymore. I hope Li Tie can get some match fitness and make it to the team he could be a handy player for us this season.

Kabba and Ifill have got the ability to play in the Premiership and I personally feel sending them out on loan would be better rather than sell them, but then again there's things that happen behind the scenes I don't see. If they aren't showing the right attitude, even in reserve games then it looks like selling them and try and make a bit of profit is the best idea.Sharpy said:

I cant help thinking that people are being over optomistic in the values they are placing on some of theses players. If any of them were £2million pound players they would be playing in the first team and not the reserves. I suspect that in reality they will all go for around the £500,000 mark. the question always is 'are you buying or are you selling?'.
We want nugent for 5 million + apparantly.
Look at his championship goalscoring record and look at kabba's, thats all im saying.
