Wednesday were OK, they still rely on Fletcher a fair bit. Lee is decent for them but he tends to get injured a lot.

Forest defensively were utter shit and that 3rd goal was laughable.

Many of the Sky matches last season Wednesday looked poor mainly due to a slow tempo, over passing the ball going no where (backwards and sideways) but they often got out of jail due to individual quality.

But fair dues I thought I Wednesday started well against Forest. The goals were fortunate (gifts) but they deserved the win and looked decent Still think they lacking a link between midfield and attack, maybe it's the pace factor and lack of urgency.

Wednesday have better individuals than us and better options off the bench
But we have the better team ethic and better manager.

No reasoned explanation other than they reckon they've never heard of any of our lot, whereas they have "insert name here".

Only player I would look at is Westwood. Even their strikers are nowt special for the amount they are allegedly worth.

Agree, anything could happen regards the result BUT the big difference and pleasure supporting the Blades these days is logic suggest we'll play well and be impressive to varying degrees.

Why should we be confident we'll play well at Hillsboro?

The answer is we've only had 1 poor performance (Walsall away) in our last 30 odd league games. That is a remarkable record and demonstrates the incredible job Wilder has done.

We are a totally different animal even compared to the Bassett and Warnock teams.

Under Wilder we are now incredibly consistent, always giving 100% and always showing good quality playing a pleasing on the eye passing game.

As I've said we might not beat SW (no result is gauranteed) but you can bet we'll have decent spells where our midfield control the match and out pass Wednesday's midfield. Of
course I recognise that SW have good players and expect them to have good spells where they take control too.

You see, I don't see them having maintained spells of control.
I see them resorting to lumping it, and relying on set pieces. I think that even though we will dominate the ball actually putting the ball in the net will be the issue. Their keeper is quality, and the pressure of the game will make it tougher for the strikers to put it away.

From the bits I saw (mostly 1st half and a but of second). Wendy looked good up until they scored the 1st, Wallace and the right back linked up well and I hope Enda can manage them well. Then after Wendy scored Florist looked like they caused them quite a lot of problems. Wendy defence struggled with their movement.

Florist on top early 2nd half until the 2nd and it was game over

Was working out which is better value for money Rhodes 3 goals in 6 months works out at 3 m quid each against Donaldson 2 goals in 70 minutes at 25k each
