Not a bad game, would have taken a point before the game and as we played with 8.5 players (Brewster and Mousset were non-existent, Osborn gets the .5) for most of the game we did ok.

Slav hasn’t got a clue which players to play though and he’s not looking like stumbling on a decent first XI and formation. Worrying.

the only people cry-arsing more about this result than people on here are the two commentators on Radio Nottingham. Brian Laws and Colin someone are like two spoiled children. “Boo hoo, Forest should’ve won, it should’ve been a penalty, why weren’t any Sheffield players booked??”

What a steaming turd of a performance. Again. We are a club that is lost. No identity, style of play, passion or belief. A disorganised, ineffective and mentally scarred collection of perennial losers. This malaise is going to take years to climb out of as we are stuck with this lot until their contracts expire and the parachute payments are long gone. Fuck me this is depressing.

When we eventually got in front I think we should have strengthened midfield immediately. There were warning signs moments before they scored.

We have one experienced player who's strong, calm in possession and can hold onto the ball. Guedioura. I think he's worth a place on the bench at least - in case scenarios like today happen.

It doesn't seem to matter which players Slav selects or what formation, it's the same old crap every single game. We dominate possession but do nothing with it before we inevitably let in a soft goal through our own undoing.

These players are awful. This team is worse than the dark days of Weir and Adkins. They're dire from top to bottom. Worse yet is that most of them will still be here next season as we can't afford to pay them off and no one will buy them.

We are an absolute mess of a football club.

the damage was done saturday a draw tonight would have been a good result if we had beaten blackpool which we should have done about 6 - 2 mid table mediocrity for us this season im afraid

I thought we we’re gonna lose so point gained….

however how many points is that we’ve thrown away in the last 10 mins…

I make it 6 so far:

1 vs Huddersfield
2 vs Preston
1 vs Millwall
2 vs Forest

We have, however, gained 2 with Sharp's winner against Derby; while the Preston and Huddersfield games saw us score on the last 10 before giving it away at the other end.

TERRIBLE TEAM SELECTION!

Moose and Brewster both don’t work hard enough, Brewster walking about, doesn’t run the line, don’t know who is training the boy? Both should be sold in January
Billy and Didzy on the bench 😡
Brewster walking about ? He might not have played well but he certainly wasnt walking about. He wasnt even the worst Unitwd player on the pitch

Alongside Norwood

Don’t even put fleck in the same sentence as Norwood again because fleck it a total joke
It’s not like me to be negative but Fleck has gone at the game !
The Algeria kid looked decent whats happening with him ?

It was embarrassing. Only Sheffield United players foul and dive yet they’ve had 5 booked and 1 for diving. Cunts

You got to laugh at the comments on here from grown men and maybe women , a lot of you are worse than the team by a country mile !
Embarrassing isn't it.

Don't get me wrong I'm not against people moaning about poor performances or having a go when things are really poor. I do that myself.

But the overexaggerated crap I hear and read every week is laughable.

We know we've got weaknesses to be addressed but we still dominate most games and are scoring more goals than we were early on.

Defensive lapses are costing us for sure but I don't see that much to rectify tbh.

If we can't hold our nerve until next year I give up.

Too many will seemingly happily go down the same route as before, sacking managers every few months and bring back more industrial football rather than let this manager bring in a bit more quality.

The fans are as much of a problem as the board and manager and I would never have said that at one time.

Bit of a nothing game. Very few chances and little quality. Very strange starting line-up. Didn't really work at all. Forest looked like they feared we were Fulham, which made me laugh.

Olsen - 5 - More terrible kicking. Absolutely terrible. Didn't look great when the ball was coming in the box either.
Stevens - 5 - Started off well and got forward regularly first half. Got poorer as the game went on. Not close enough to his man and should have stopped a couple of crosses. They were causing lots of problems down that side. In fairness, was much worse when Osborn went off.
Basham - 6 - Made some important blocks and clearances but charges out recklessly a couple of times and lost the ball. Lucky to not be punished.
Egan - 5 - Poor again. Just full of mistakes and Basham had to clear up for him a couple of times. Not sure what was going on for their goal. It certainly wasn't organisation.
Bogle - 5.5 - Should have stopped the cross going in for the goal. Nowhere near close enough to his man defensively. Mixed going forward.
Fleck - 4.5 - Sums up his season. Wasteful and slow on the ball. Offers little defensively.
Norwood - 5 - At least tried to get on the ball and do something but seemed to go backwards as the game wore on. A playmaker that doesn't make play.
Osborn - 5 - Mr energy and you can't fault his workrate but he's so sloppy on and off the ball. Nowhere near enough quality at the moment.
Gibbs-White - 7 - By far and away our best player and looked the only player capable of making something happen. Fairly quiet first half but became more and more influential. Everything seemed to go through him.
Brewster - 3 - Sorry, why was he on the pitch? Snatched at a good chance and was generally not involved. Offered almost no defensive cover for Bogle and you could see Bogle didn't want to get forward.
Mousset - 3 - He's ok when the ball is within 5 yards of him but stopped making runs after about 30 minutes

Subs

Ndiaye - 5 - Came on with his usual energy but largely ineffectual and didn't offer much defensively.
Sharp - 6 - Created the goal and made a difference when he came on. Gave a couple of daft freekicks away though but we looked much better with him on. Like there was some shape.
Hourihane - Came on late on but did a couple of shockingly bad things.

Slav - 5 - Got a point against a form side. Strange set-up and while we had more of the possession we rarely looked dangerous. Goal came out of nowhere really and while we did create a few things you could argue that no better than Forest's chances. The subs helped us going forward but taking Osborn off put Stevens under a lot of pressure.

Forest - You can see they have some decent players but they seemed scared of us after being hammered by Fulham. Didn't try and get forward first half but looked dangerous on the occasions they did. Spence looked exceptional, both defensively and going forward.

These are the types of attention seeking posts I can’t stand.
Surely it’s the worse team ever and Slavisa is the worse manager ever.

Did you ever watch the Weir and Adkins era?
This tesm plays far better football. I hardly enjoyed any games under Adkins but most games (even when we lose) are decent.
I spoke to some older sensible Blackpool fans after Saturdays match.
They said us and Bournemouth are the best teams they’ve played so far this season, they were particularly impressed with Gibbs-White.

Also we are far from being a mess, we’re financially secure with record season tickets holders and the best support base we’ve had in years.
If you think we are in a mess then what is your view on Sheff Wed?
No money, no longer own their ground, an owner who is grossly incompetent, dwindling fanbase, little hope with the prospect of several seasons in league 1

Our season is very concerning but there’s a long way to go yet.
I’d feel quite optimistic but our defence is too fragile….so think we’ll be mid table.
However if we sort out the defence and we can definitely make the play-offs.

Thought it was a better team performance tonight than Saturday without creating enough. Bogle at fault for me for the equaliser. Allowed the cross to come in far too easily. In fact he looked poor. Winger went past him for fun on numerous occasions. I'd like to see their goal again, should Olsen have claimed it?

A normal team in a boring game like that
gets a goal they probably don't deserve against a side who offered nothing themselves and shithouse the 1-0.

We conceded after 5 minutes of going in front.

What happened in Eastenders tonight ?
Because you certainly didn't watch the match. Gibbs-White was ineffective tonight, yes he got the goal but MOM really, and Brewster 3 😆. Brewster wasn't great by any means but to give him the same mark has Mousset really.

I think the thinking behind the selection was to get MGW central rather than out right. But Brewster is not the answer to take his place there.

Brewster needs a run in the u23's, and if he still can't score there then it's time to write him off. He's lost all confidence in front of goal and hasn't shown any signs of being able to play in any other attacking positions. It's a shame as we all had high hopes for him, but it's just not working.

Did you watch the game ? Norwood was far better than the mark you gave him. Osborn a lot lower than a 5.he was all effort and no football ability. Brewster a 3 ? Better then that. MGW 7 when he was a passenger in the first half ? Bizarre

Agree…think he needs to start again…..probably from the bottom.
Many experts…who know more about football than any of us are convinced by his talent.
Once his confidence comes back expect his standards to sky rocket.
