Something kicked of with McBurnie I wonder. Wondered why the big announcement a few hours ago that he was coming off Twitter for a few days, he could have just not logged onto it for a few days but the announcement makes me think there is more to it.

I think I read somewhere Brewster has played no more than three consecutive games for us. Yes, he's been disappointing but I think he needs a sustained run of games. It's been stop start he's either benched or subbed. We know there's a player in there. I would have played Ndiaye too and dropped Fleck. But overall a positive line up.
How do we know there's a player in there, seen nothing at all so far.
Looks like Slav has picked a very unbalanced side there, hope I'm wrong but fear a loss tonight.

I'll be doing lesson planning whilst watching this one.

If we're decent then the kiddies' maths and science tomorrow will be shit. They'll probably end up having a story read to them instead.

If we're shite then all will be well. Which is what I'm expecting, really.

I’m trying to be optimistic and hope that they’ve purposefully took him out the firing line and he’s been working hard. At least ndiaye is on the bench if it goes to shit!
Would like to think the same, been having intense training to play a certain position with a promise of a start at some point. He's getting his chance. He will know what is expected. It's now down to him tonight.

Come on Bash! Hope this works, need to start turning this shite into wins asap!

wasnt expecting this 442, with basham & also brewster back from the dead to starting who knows what we're getting tonight, play like we did on sat & take our chances. we can beat anyone in this league. if cant score then they'll carry on midtable

Bash & Eggs - solid. Edna & Jay - better forward than back. Fleck & Norwood - inconsistent. MGW, Moose & Oz - 2/3 solid 1/3 inconsistent. Brew Dog - hopelessly unachieved potential.

Slav gives you a chance to prove it if he thinks you have it in you. After Christmas he’ll know who they all really are.
He has more patience than us (me!!).

Brewster ahead of Ndiaye?.. baffled..

May be a sign that we'll be a bit more direct, maybe Mousset and Brewster more of a pacey front two pairing in a 4-4-2? Less tricks, less patient build ups, but a bit more counter attacking?

Strange Brewster ahead of Ndiaye

Brewster over Ndiaye may just be a fitness thing. Saturday was the first time Iliman has played a full 90 mins this season, and this was likely forced on Slav by circumstances rather than being the pre-game plan, given the way they’ve been shepherding him.

Iliman’s contractural position meant he’d barely played properly for ages when he broke into the first XI. He’d not even been playing for the U23s, let alone in the higher intensity adult game.

His fitness/conditioning may simply mean he’s not up to starting tonight, after playing a full 90 mins at the weekend.

Kozzy is a bit strange looking nowadays , gage is just strange

Yes mate but no Kevin Gage constantly chittering away for absolute nothing and crowd noise is non existent. Get Gage to shut the **** up and turn up the crowd noise and it would be perfect so I’m on the red button
That is the major downside

Really can’t see it being 4-4-2. Think it’ll be the usual 4-2-3-1 with MGW as the 10, brewster right and osborn left

No replays on red button though !

2 questions:

Can Olsen keep his first clean sheet?
Can Moose last 90 mins?

Everything else is irrelevant 🤣

Great to see bash, but I’d swap Norwood out for him.

Anyone with NOW TV - The match is on “bonus streams” if you scroll down.
Never knew these existed until just now…….

Hopefully Fleck will take corners and not Norwood. Some of his deliveries in the first half on Saturday were great.

Why is Brewster playing out wide? Silly! I think he has touched the ball twice?
