OK, I am using one of Nigel Adkin's phrases in the title, but what I would love for the remainder of this season is that the fans get behind the team and the team continue in current form and give the fans continued reason to get behind them.

No more sarcastic cheering, no more booing when a pass doesn't find the man, no more booing the team off if they lose or draw.

Players - give us 100% every game, no less, it is the least we (the paying supporters) deserve. Step into the shoes (boots) of a previous generation and become "The Battling Blades" once again.

Supporters - be vocal in a positive way, let's rebuild "Fortress Bramall Lane", give it the intimidating atmosphere that opposition teams won't relish playing in.

Board - back the players and the fans by giving us a fighting chance in the January window, make the right decisions, back Nigel Adkins, give him the tools to get the job done.

No one has a crystal ball and no one know what is around the corner, but at least we stand together and face the future together. Be positive.

Happy New Year to Sheffield United Football Club, the current Sheffield United squad and more importantly, to the long suffering supporters and fans.

The board need to step up, seems the players and manager are at the moment. 24000 fans watched a midtable 3rd division side v Bradford (and it was on TV), if the board, players, manager do their job, the fans will continue to do theirs.

I think what Phipps et al have seen this season is that if you piss the fans off, they get a little bit annoyed. So lets keep the fans happy in 2016 and Phipps, Adkins and the hastag massive will get their togetherness without needing to tweet positivity and long statements asking for patience.

We've done patience, we've also done mildly pissed off.
