I have heard that Chapman could be playing some part tonight along with Reed and Brooks.

Everton trialist at C Back should be playing again.

Well that was not one of our best performances against an average opponent
We looked like we had the better players but we were very open. First half our wing backs were not tracking back and our wide back three centre backs Graham and Kelly were being caught out by fast breaks. The trialist centre back seemed to be playing a different game to the rest of the defenders, certainly holding a line was not evident and Bolton should have scored at least two more goals off careless passes. Made me realise how important it is for us to have Wright in the first team who plays for the team and not for himself.
Chapman looks a fine player even after a serious injury and Brooks was not his usual self but he too is just back after a few weeks away. Even my man Jake Wright was not his usual agressive self he never even looked like getting booked. Ti and Kimani Smith as well as Tom Charlesworth did liven things up when they came on but the visitors saw out the game well and to be honest we never really got at them.
Hope we sort out our back line before our next game and go back to holding our line as we have done so well this year. Due to the trialist playing more like an old fashioned sweeper Bolton were not once caught off side and this from a counter attacking team, I've never seen anything like that for a long time
Anyway the result from Hull keeps us in line for a top two finish and I am confident we will see a different team next Monday at Stocksbridge

Thanks for the re ports. Didn't Reed play?
Yes he did and he played his usual sound game. Reed and Slater are not the tallest but they certainly hold nothing back. The centre of the park looked overcrowded so space was short.

It was not the best last night to be fair.

Don't think there would be anything gained from going through the team but two points to mention.

Chapman had some cracking touches and in my opinion was the best player on show in the first 45 mins. faded second half but that was to be expected.
Bainbridge the trialist from Everton was poor. Seemed to be playing his own game rather than for the team. Poor distribution, missed header after header and looked like weight. I would imagine Cummings will be miffed off if this is the standard of replacement we are looking at after releasing him.

Couldn't agree more about Cummings being miffed he's done enough in my opinion to warrant a pro deal at United. Bainbridge looked indecisive never commanded the centre of the back 3 and it looked to affect Kelly and Bombers confidence also as they weren't as solid as previous games....the midfield 2 of Reed and Slater are always consistent and you have to admire Reedy's attitude and work ethic it would be easy for him to just go through the motions, Playing both Chapman and Brooks means there will never be much tracking back done by the pair of them and I thought Chapman seemed to think it was all about him and how good he is offering very little to the team when he lost the ball by trying to beat 2 or 3 players at every opportunity. Thought we did enough to warrant a draw and only bad decision making meant we didn't get a deserved point...be interesting to see what the Millwall game brings in terms of team selection.

With A back 3 of Bomber Cummings Semple, there was always plenty there to come through and progress for the club. It is a young defence in terms of u23s football but i am amazed the club has split them up. Especially as Semple is out for 9 months. I would have thought Cummings would have at least got a years pro deal to progress further and as cover for Semple.....

I have also heard that only Jake Wright Jnr has been offered further terms from the current first/ 2nd year Pros.

So Kelly, K Smith, Conner Hall, Gordon, Nat Crofts will all be leaving also.
