Who, is that sick note himself.
Must be someone else with that same name. A new trialist perhaps.
Definitely not the same James Wallace who when he signed for us sprained his wrist.

There was a miscommunication, the report said "hospital pass" but it was more a pass from the Hospital where James was being treated for a strained eyebrow ;)

Clearly we've got a trialist we're trying to keep under wraps who's going under that name.

My sources tell me that Wallace himself was frozen earlier this month. He will remain frozen until medical science reaches a point where it can establish how to bring him back to being of use to the footballing world.

..thats his game for 2016 then....

I know most of what is said on here relative to JW is in jest but I can assure everyone that no one wants to continue his career in football moreso than the man himself.

I'm sure thats absolutely the case. In a way thats a great part of the frustration, that there is actually a very good footballer in there.

Long, Charlesworth, Graham, Semple (C), A. Brown, Stewart, Gilmoor, J. Wallace, T. Smith, Hallam, K. Smith

Bench. Cummings, Slater, Perryman, Ford, Burton

Played against a strong Newcastle side. I would imagine the best performance for a very young 23s side this season.

Hallam 34, Semple 68.

Not saying you're wrong but I'm not sure how we'd judge another teams relative strength.
Having "names" in there, is often not a great indication as they may be on their way back from injury and taking it really lightly or just not being arsed.
Just good to see us winning, whoever we're up against.

FFS give them a bit of credit.

SUFC Played a keeper not in first team squad, an injury prone centre mid, a trialist, 2 18 year olds and 5 17 year olds and 1 16 year old.

Newcastle played a full team of 1st, 2nd 3rd year pros. plus a left back with 37 first team appearances over the last 12 months.

I think its a fucking cracking result against a club spending over £50 million this summer.

I judge that as i see it....

I would say you are trying to down grade the opposition without having been there.

I then think is a load of shite writing about winning against anyone. On this occasion it wasn't fucking just anyone. It was a young sufc side against a good more experienced Newcastle side.

I think watching cricket could be a good idea..

Any idea why Whiteman, Reed and Brooks weren't involved?

Whiteman did take a knock at QPR and came off at half time.

I would think CW just wants a full squad to choose from for Saturday.

Well done to the lads. Great stuff. Bit worried about Hallam and particularly Semple, though. I'd heard they were up and coming prospects. I now learn, to my horror, that one is towards the end of his career and the other is a fucking pensioner....

Good report on Newcastle Website on todays game.

Don't know how to get it on my post.... Technology !!!

haha love it, reminds me of this;

I see Reece Brown didn't turn out. Has he actually made an appearance for us yet as I haven't seen that he has?

If not, seems odd offering a contract when he's supposedly arrived on the pretext of having an initial trial

The planet of great optimism and good will. Wallace looked a real player to me when he actually got fairly fit, so a very good career has been lost to his infirmity.
I live on the planet reality, this is the planet where JW lives on
If James Wallace has played more than 180 minutes of football for united in the last two years I'll watch a Wednesday game.

So do I. If you read my post you'll see I've written the poor fella off.

I think you will find all players who will be involved at scunny on sat were training at shire Cliffe today preparing g for a tough game which we are going to have a go at winning, tactics and team shape would I assume be at the top of there a gender.
