You must have seen them. Scuttling about to get their precious programmes & teamsheets. The Collectors. They've got to have what they've got to have. If it's not already nailed down, they'll have it. But, if you try to get to the obscure friendlies & youth games - like I do - you meet these wretches. I've seen corner flags nicked before the game kicks off in the absence of other "souvenirs". I've seen opposition coaching staff asked for the trainers off their feet because they have a "club logo" on them. I've seen seats unscrewed, taken to the airport, put through security scanners, put in the hold of the plane & "imported" to England from Utd games overseas. I've seen the despair on the face of the Club Pencil Collector who had a Hartlepools Utd Pencil, the paint wore off & it was actually a Kylie Minogue Pencil that had been repainted. I've seen Stuff......
