I would like to start a petition for all blades to turn off Radio pig, whether in the car, at work, at home don't listen. No point complaining it makes no difference, turning them off will hurt them more.

TURN OFF RADIO PIG

fookin crap ...............................have been for years.

2 questions.

i. why will it hurt them if their listening figures are down slightly?
ii. can you tell me an alternative radio station that provides half decent local sports coverage?

thanks

Local sport coverage?? Piggy coverage you mean you get as much united coverage on the web.

I will only listen to Goal King on there.

P&G went down the toilet years ago. I can't believe Brian the embarrassment actually still gets airplay, what a tool

I very rarely listen to FH anymore as its usually full of nutters and the same owd same owd people, have heard RS ring them up sometimes to come on
I did listen to Toby Foster in a morning but his show was getting worse by the day and last Friday was the last straw, I just needed an excuse not to listen anymore.
I listen to the Soul and Motown show sometimes and will continue to do that.
BTW just before said show tonight caught the last 5 mins of FH and Rob Staton denied that anybody from RS had been in touch with any of our sponsors re Cheds conviction.
I have not bought The Star for ages

Regarding Keith Edwards ,did you hear his apology which was read out last week regarding his views on Cheds trial ? wonder if this was done for him or was he given an ultimatum or was it simply his own decision ? I have had a discussion today with Masri and he says he was told by his bosses to investigate more Evans stories. It sounds like someone high up In Radio Pig really has got it in for us.

Genuine question - you said you didn't care that the Mail were printing stories of the proposed clapping in the Stevenage game, and said you didn't care what anyone thought of SUFC; why are you getting so het-up about a proposed story about people returning Ched shirts? (which incidentally sounds the dullest news item ever)

Anyone use Blades Player? if so is it any good?

If you mean "does it offer a refreshing alternative to Radio Pig" the answer is no, as (I beleive) the commentry is taken from Radio Pig. Including them bogging off "round the grounds" - which is a f**king disgrace for a service you have to subscribe to. It should be uninterrupted commentry...

Whos het up ? Just sticking up for my football club ,as they seem to be attacked from all sides at the moment , why do you appear to do the opposite ?

yeah but people returning Ched shirts is a 'major' story for a radio station who's usual output consists of 'dog fouling in graves park' and mrs jones budgie seen in tree in Norfolk Park :D

Not at all - I just wondered why you seemed fine with the Daily Mail (nationwide circulation and No 1. read news website in the US) printing that Sheffield United fans were clapping a rapist, yet seem to have taken an affront to a tin-pot local radio station reporting that some fans are returning shirts with Evans 9 on the back (which as I said above is a non-event story if ever I head of one).

What do you mean I seemed fine ,the daily mail disgusts me ,and the article on Ched was typical of the lazy journalism it has become accustomed to. I doubt I can affect a paper of its size but together we could certainly affect radio Sheffield.

Cheers Selly. I wont be subscribing to that then!

maybe a local internet based radio station is the answer? Low cost, limited programming, wouldn't get comms, but that aside....and no Mick the Rawmarsh Pig or Mark the Pitsmoor Retard.....
