You did miss quite a few chances for innuendo near the end, must be changed men.
DB even said "Mcburnie came inside his man" absolute tap in missed.

I couldn’t possibly comment…though if you wanted to check, I hear that if you’re looking for a place to start, you can’t beat a bit of Bully/Billy…
Cheers for the pod, fellas, as ever. Essential listening for this Japan-based Blade.
If you’re struggling with surreptitious drinking on Wembley Way, something like these sleeves might be decent.

Our local beach went alcohol-free during COVID times, even employing “beer police” to patrol the beach, but the sleeves sorted me out nicely. They’re an absolute fooker to get off, though.
Also, the McBurnie sport is “padel tennis”, which I think is also called pickleball, and the place he talks about is here: https://www.surgepadel.co.uk/
Cheers again.
Superb fact-checking and suggestions, many thanks. 15 quid though? Tempted to risk the fine.
Where in Japan are you?
Haha. Yeah, fair point. Kept me sane during COVID, so was well worth it, but for a one off, probably not.
Dunno if you know Japan much, but I work in Tokyo, in a part called Shibuya. Live about an hour south of Tokyo, in Kanagawa near the sea. Not met many Blades over here, but there’s two or three of us that will occasionally meet up for a game, “Basham’s arriving” being the favorite!
Worth listening to for Deadbat’s pronunciation of restaurants
Good pod, must admit the Wembley queuing and concourse experience was spot on for us. Quiet bogs, quiet bars and tables to sit around to drink beer, friendly stewards and an escalator up to the concourse.
