I think the problem here is you're under the impression that valid criticism isn't accepted. It is. I've criticised Wilder and the team plenty for post-lockdown performances but I also did it with respect to the context of the club's position and the stunning progress it's made.

You on the other hand have churned out searing hot take likes "if you have IBS you can't be a pro footballer" (paraphrasing), and then when someone mocked you for it you went off on a random tangent about LGBT posts.

Nobody's saying you can't criticise Wilder, they're saying your posts are genuinely bizarre.

Nope, to able to be validly criticising anything to do with SUFC has for a long time been a
privilege granted to only some posters, including you, not your average joe. Saw it long before I ever first posted anything here.

I am genuinely bizarre, as evidenced by many of my messages here. But there shouldn't be anything bizarre in saying that the transfer window before the summer last was actually dire and mismanaged, or If CW says that this current one is his best transfer window in the club, he is speaking bollocks, or If deluded or forced to say so.

After a few minutes one of the blokes turns to us and says, 'would you mind joining our discussion that we've been having....would you prefer to burn to death or freeze to death

All four sat with deadpan anticipated faces as me and my mate looked at each other.

After struggling to engage us, he then asked if we would prefer to lose sense of touch or sight.

Usually polite in these types of situations I had no choice but to ask whether he would prefer to sit next to oddballs in the pub asking silly questions, or next to people kept themselves to themselves.

Did the trick thankfully.

It's a good job the forum wasn't around when Bassett got us promoted to Division 1 in 1990. Can you imagine the meltdown when we'd only got 4 points and no wins from the first 16 games?

It's a good job the forum wasn't around when Bassett got us promoted to Division 1 in 1990. Can you imagine the meltdown when we'd only got 4 points and no wins from the first 16 games?

Literally the season we got promoted we had the exact same thing. We'd finished poorly, spotty form, and started the season with a 3 losses out of 4, Swansea, Boro and Hull on pens in the league cup.

We were going to struggle, not good enough, everyone had us sussed, in a relegation scrap.

Then we signed Norwood, Egan and Henderson settled, and we went up.

People should hold fire.
