Apparently there's been an increasing amount of trouble on the official coaches and so they're looking to bring in sanctions to prevent it. Mick Rooker mentions:

No under 16's allowed to travel without a responsible Adult aged over 25.

ID cards with photographs on

What do you think about that?

Personally... I don't tend to use the coaches that often. It's only when we know that parking can be an issue (i.e. anywhere in Liverpool) or it's cheaper than filling the car or any other form of transport.

But I used the coaches more as a chabby and didn't tend to have a "responsible adult" with me then.

I know the coaches can be full of boring shits (who I don't think appreciated the conversation on whether Keenzy would give Matt Kilgallon a blowjob* as we were coming back from Orient) but by the same measure, I also know they can be full of obnoxious little chavs playing speed garage through their tinny shit phones. Never the twain shall meet.

I think the photographic ID is a good idea. If not just for chav-control then for safety reasons too. If anything happened to the bus, then at least everyone would be carrying photographic identification.

EDIT:

* - No

Well i'm shocked at that,

I really though Keenzy would have given Matt Kilgallon a blowjob.

I once got threatened to be thrown off a coach by the driver coming home from Bradford one season. The reason, threatening the chavs with throwing their phones out the window, closely followed by them as I was fed up of listening to happy hardcore volume 3. No justice :D

There's having a laugh, then theirs being complete morons.

I think it's a pretty good idea.

£10 Berghaus!

is it just me, or is anyone else thinking...WTF!

They are snippets of the delightful conversations we have been privy to as travellers on the coaches.

Yeah bring photo ID on. Its annoying when yer coming back from say london and your trying to nod off and some little prick is playing his broken record songs and kicking my chair and swearing blind that they didnt bring booze on and then admitted they did.

ID i say!

I also vote for more hardlines on little shits.

If they're being little shits, throw them off wherever you are and let them fend for themselves. They'll soon realise that they haven't got a divine right to be on the coaches :D

i've never been on the coaches, i can't stand most people and been up close like that would result in me strangling someone...and that duff duff music would make me kill i believe. But yeah ID seems a good thing to introduce.

Haha!

How are you around your family?:p

I don't particularly like going on the coaches, I prefer the train to be honest.

But it's less hassle and gets you from A to B so it's just an easy way to do it. I'd have to plan all my away games months in advance to save any money doing it on the train all the time.

Im sure you could last a full journey down to plymouth sat next to me :D

After spending several hours with Keenzy, licking the windows seems the sane thing to do.

I went on the coach a few times when i was younger and other forms of transport were just about out of the question (Plymouth & Fulham spring to mind). They are quite possibly the worst things i have ever travelled on in my life - 6 hours to get to Fulham. 6!

Never again.

I've not been on one of the club coaches for over twenty years, and there is no way on earth I'd ever go on one again.
