Didn't see it, so I can't really comment, but from the background noise on the call to Radio Sheffield it sounded like the Dingle antagonists certainly outnumbered Blades 
What is the point?
Oh and to the dingle who thought he was clever and hard barging into the old man in front of me... Absolutely pathetic, that's why I was laughing at you, I notice you walked around me.

I went to Barnsley on the train, got there at about one, went drinking in the Irish Bar in Barnsley town centre, and after the match went supping in the Wetherspoons having a belting session before heading back to Sheff at about 9.
Didn't see much trouble apart from a few dickheads singing walking from the ground to the station.

Got to Dingleland at 11am had a wander round the town centre before ending up at the leisure centre. Straight out off the ground and on the first train back to civilisation saw no trouble at all. Went on a £5 South Yorkshire day tripper ticket, any bus, tram or train - cracking value and a great day out. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Just out of interest and this is something that i wondered about yesterday, but why on earth would you go from Sheffield to Barnsley for an away match by coach?
Sheffield to Barnsley is 30 minutes by train, relatively cheap and there is plenty of places you can stop off and go for a drink if you are that way minded. I can understand people going on the farflung away days by coach, but Barnsley away?

Aye... Got into Barnsley about 11am. Straight to Wetherspoons for breakfast and it was seemingly full of Blades. Then we had a wander round the joys of Barnsley market before heading up to the Metrodome and getting settled up there (how bloody warm was it in that bar?!)
We didn't see any trouble as we walked back up to the car... but some of the Dingles weren't half talking shit.

I got there at 11am, only 2 plod there everyone went into the town centre.
Ah so that's why I was so thirsty, good food in there as well the only minus points being the plastic glasses. I was upstairs and yes it was tropical in there.

There's also much, much less risk of any trouble as the coach is directly out of the ground - same as going. It's much less hassle. I went to piggery on a coach too, cost £2.50 each, cheaper than a tram ticket - and much easier and safer than trying to get back on the tram!

Apparently the club will be getting billed for the TV gantry that the chavs damaged.
Carry on chucking stuff at your own fans and breaking shit up at the expense of our club and I'm sure someone will take exception and teach you a lesson.

I went with a Barnsley fan who had his shirt on, so I was ok :thumbup:
I was near the trouble when it all kicked off, it didn't look anything major to me. I started walking back to have a look what was going off, but the coppers got the dogs out so I was staying well away!

Were you sat near there too? I was 2 rows in front. It was f***ing disgusting. That area was cordoned off, they knew they weren't supposed to be in there. There were far too many in there for a start. Did the stewards care? Not really - the nearest ones were behind the goal (and we were two rows from back). After the first instance of "Let's go f***ing mental" someone behind me went to tell a steward who said he'd "tell his gaffer". Gaffer obviously didn't give a shit that they'd kicked down a metal panel (thankfully fell backwards). The only thing behind poor Pete & Beryl's heads were those chav's feet, of which were kicking about here, there and everywhere - with no care for anyone. Beryl & another of our party moved out of the way to the end of the row (and I don't blame them) to save their heads from being kicked. One of lads next to them had a full bottle of coke thrown at him.
How can they call themselves Blades?

I'd write to the club and ask them to stop them taking things with e-numbers on to the coach with them!
