Burke has wasted more chances this season than the whole squad put together. Brewster has played poorly in every game he's played.

Just looked it up - 20 appearances, 9 starts. Wouldn’t surprise me if there’s a trigger at 30, so he’s saving him for the end of the season, to have him ready for next year and hopefully break his duck so that it isn’t hanging over him

He might have missed more but christ, how many do we make when he is not playing? Would rather make chances and have something to get excited about than that pile of dross tonight.

He does make chances himself. Had this conversation with my dad, I actually think I'd rather not watch him create 5 chances a game just to miss them.

Either way, in terms of impacting the result, my point was that it's hardly unfathomable that he doesn't start. He's even less likely to come off the bench if we need a goal because he can't score. If we were 1-0 up seeing a game out, we might see him.

He's also set up quite a few chances, worried the opposition defence and caused problems. I'm truly baffled why he's not getting any game time, although most things CW does baffles me at the moment

Burke also 20 appearances - coincidence? 13 games left, so expect them to miss another 4 by the end of the season if my theory is correct

I see your point, we just need a bit of pace up top. We were so one dimensional tonight. Would rather have something to talk about than how shit we were, imagine, we could be talking about how we nearly won a game..... maybe..
