I'm just wondering as to how people are planning on getting down there. I'm looking at trains but its a bit pricey.

I am travelling up from London. Looked at prices from Donny (as was going to see if my old man wanted to join me) and they were shocking. This was months ago, when they first came out. I can only think that East Coast got win that United were playing there and hiked the prices up. Either that or there was an initial surge of Blades buying tuickets early and hence they increased prices as there was less seats (common form of price discrimination). Either way too expensive.

I will be coming up from London with a non-Blade mate and my old man will be coming down with a former colleague of mine. We're meeting in "Our Mutual Friend" (odd name for a pub, that) as it's a five minute walk from the ground and "all are welcome" according to the nice woman I spoke to. The pub is in the CAMRA guide too, apparently, so might even get nice beer.

Oh yeah, it's my birthday. So I plan on getting wrecked. Should be a great day. Wonder how many we'll concede
