Three good players signed, plus two in on loan. All ready to strengthen the first team straight away.
All of it paid for by flogging the reserve goalie.

That'll do nicely.

Whilst it is always a shame to see young players leave I think we are good at bringing new ones through. The players we have signed will hopefully help us achieve our one priority - promotion!

I'm happy with some of the signings and some are adequate for this season and this season only.

The main thing to take out of this window is that George Long will be buzzing his tits off that he has somehow managed to become second choice, challenging an out of form first choice in Moore.

Very bad timing is the deal of Ramsdale, we surely could've done it last week or something so we could get better in for challenging Moore? now we'll be rushing around trying to get one in which isn't ideal for a promotion challenging outfit.

Who has never played a league match for us.

I think he has made the same mistake as Jordan Slew did 6 years ago

We will have to wait and see on that one Silent . From a Sheffield United aspect , it is again good business IMO and Wilder knows what he is doing . Whether or not we get a late incoming transfer with the money remains to be seen .

Yup, along with Carruthers and Hanson. So 3 of each?

Who's the fourth loanee?

Samir Carruthers, Daniel Lafferty and James Hanson havepenned permanent contracts with United, whilst Ethan Ebanks-Landell, Joe Riley, JayO'Shea and Harry Chapman will be with theclub until the end of the season on loan deals.

The sales of DCL,Adams and ramsdale will not alter what happens on the pitch this season.
Not one of those was a regular barring a sub appearance here and there.
We've strengthened this window in what we need to get out of this division. Utb

The way people convince themselves every deal we do is a great deal is a good indication of how far we have sunk.

They were all shit, they were just reserve players and they will all end up like Jordan Slew anyway.

Jordan Rhodes will be a shit signing for Wednesday and Ronaldo will be playing for Tranmere Rovers soon enough.

Have you ever run a business?

Have you ever run a business?

Yes and I thought making money was the aim of the game.

The sales we make barely cover the running costs of the club whilst clubs elsewhere seem to be able to sell players for double or more than what we do.

Never mind just let me put my bladey blade hat on:

"What a great deal! we have had Bournemouth's trousers down with this deal!"

What would you do?

My uncle goes rowing with McCabes shoe shiner and he said that he said that he said that connor sammon will be announced as director of football in the club shop tommorow at 2:45pm

Me? Sign our young players on longer term deals especially if I think they good enough.

Even if they do decide to leave at some point then at least give myself a better bargaining position rather than the bent over position we put ourselves in.

It is like like we have no foresight at all and that any offer no matter how shit is a good one because we are in League 1.

"Oh thank you so much Mr Premier League Club for your derisory offer despite the amount of money you have. We are most grateful you have chosen to buy from us."

I just hope we've a decent sell on clause in Ramsdale deal. If he becomes a top quality premier league keeper he won't stay at Bournemouth and we will be rewarded financially. If he only ever plays at championship/ lower prem level we've hardly been done considering he has 6 months left on his contract. I understand frustrations that we often sell our youth but this is an altogether different deal from the Kyle's where we were shafted and are unlikely to make anything from selling on unless Real Madrid come knocking. We can start to be more picky with who we don't sell when we are at least challenging for promotion in the championship for now its all about getting back there and signing players who will make and impact now in order to get us back there asap.

Works the other way as well. We sign someone underwhelming but because it's us it's a savvy bit of business.
