There seems to be some panic about lack of signings but there's still 6 weeks left until the transfer window shuts.

I can only assume there's some confusion as it's a funny window.

Window will open for 10 weeks from 27 July to 5 October with domestic-only window for EFL clubs until 16 October

Just to add between 5-16 October we can still sign players from or send to EFL clubs. So Cash Swift or anyone else could take 8 weeks up to a deadline. No trading between EPL clubs after 5 October and presumably overseas as well.
