We need to make a bold statement at the club and immediately make dead wood available for transfer. For me it would be:

Howard, McMahon, Williams, Westlake, Doyle, Flynn, Murphy, Porter and King need to be made available for transfer immediately. A bit frivolous you may think when we are in the middle of a closed transfer window, but it'd give clubs time to weigh up bids. It might also seem a bit 'Champ Managerish. But Peterborough did it last season and all of the players reacted positively.

Jaff, who would want them? You're not going to get any bids for them, certainly not any above £0.

Transfer listing players is also making a statement that you don't want them, so either you're saying they're not very good or something else is wrong.

I would keep McMahon ,Howard,Doyle and Porter for the rest of the seasosn and replace them with Culevier,Maguire,Brandy and McGinty and release Lappin

According to this, we're looking at a proper clearout. Doyle will still be with us though. Now that's either the definition of a bad smell, or having photo's of McCabe bent over someone's desk.
