I know there is still time, but I just cant see it.
I dont want to seem like I feel its doom & gloom all the time but I've been to 90-95% of games this season & am continually supporting the Club financially and vocally and at the moment in particular am bewildered by United's attitude & actions.
I am also sick of this perception that by expressing your disappointment, not wanting to settle for second best & craving more than is being offered are negative traits as a supporter! :mad:
P.S. I am not saying that is on this site specifically just in general!

Exactly and £400+ for a season ticket I don't think we are wrong in not wanting to settle for 2nd best.

Definitely not, the only time I ever have a problem is when people over step the mark and abuse. I might not always agree with them and will offer my own opinion, but the only time I get truly annoyed is when people abuse or report opinion/heresay as "fact".

Problem is, its the transfer window... This automatically makes anyone we sign crap and anyone who anyone else signs world beaters :D

But by the same token... just because you don't rant and rave, kick the cat and sulk all weekend whenever we (invariably) lose, it doesn't mean you don't hope for better things.

You just know better than to expect them :D
 
Many other clubs have said the same thing.

Not just us.

Granted they are named different, but the same topic is covered. Wasnt lookling for an argument, just simply making an observation.

Anyway on a completely seperate issue (known as topic) Camara signs on loan for stoke! Anyone fancy a cheeky loan bid for Fuller or Kitson?
 



I'd love to see Fuller at the lane. We'd actually get goals from playing hoofball then.
 
we have signed arturo lupoli on loan till the end of the season accordinging to sky sports!
 
While transfers are fun for supporters it makes more business sense to wait till the premiership clubs are done and then pick up a couple of benchwarmers on loan. Makes me think a deal by Wednesday - now that would be ironic.

I Agree with that,

I wouldnt kick the cat though, Not my Rascal lol

just all this who har being labelled a moaner just for wanting the best for the Club but expressing it in a different way to others.
I would much rather take a slice of humble pie and united sign a decent player but its as if the script is already written.
Whatever the manager, whatever the position at the end of transfer deadline day the same guff will be spouted. The club may aswell prepare the statement theirselves and air it on a continuous loop at the end of every transfer window.
I dont even think 1 signing will be enough at this stage but it will be better than nothing!

SOUTH African international Aaron Mokoena could be on the brink of a deadline day move to Sheffield United.
Mokoena, who has spent the last four years at Blackburn Rovers, is wanted to provide cover in defence and midfield.

The 28-year-old is South Africa's most capped player and was appointed national captain after the retirement of former Leeds United star Lucas Radebe.

Manager Kevin Blackwell has confirmed that he is hoping to strengthen his squad before today's 5pm deadline.

The Blades are currently travelling down to Southampton for a Championship game on Tuesday night.

Mokoena started his career with Dutch club Ajax and cost Blackburn £300,000 from Genk.

Another transer deadline gone with nothing to look forward to apart from another year doing fuck all in this league.

The owners / board have once again showed their total lack of ambition. Of course there will be the usual excuses about the right players not being available and that our other clubs and youth system will fill some of the gaps.

Fans of a few other clubs think we are at the moment.... Not for the actions of the club, but from the reactions and "speeches" from some of our fans.

Lupoli is described as a "hero" to their fans on the Norwich website. Strange he is not a regular in their team. He is a left footed striker with a good goalscoring record wherever he has been and is only 21. Represented Italy at every level up to and including their under 21s. Sounds a potential worldbeater but not good enough for lowly Norwich? Could well be a good loan signing for a change, fingers crossed.....[lets hope so].

Wouldn't you expect that anyway? Look at prem' clubs. It tends to be those fighting for survival who invest more this time of year.

Not saying I'm pleased with out lack of activity (far from it) but it's not accurate to compare our signings to those at the bottom of the league.
 



Well interestingly... Of all the whispers I mentioned.... Not one of them came off.

Whether or not this means we'll be in for them in the loan window I don't know.

One of the possibilities signed for Newcastle.

One of them depended on the potential movement of Santa Cruz.
