That would be one up on Little Lightweight Louis, the Bladey favourite?.....
And also 5 years up on Little Lightweight Louis.
One is likely to grow in stature and ability and has a football brain. The other is fast and runs round a lot - has a scottish accent.

Anyone else think that the under 21's game gives us an indication of what players has interest or not? You would have thought that if there was any interest by either the player to move on, or from another club, that they wouldn't risk playing in todays game? Those not playing today include Bob Harris (injured still?) Kieron Wallace, Stefan Scougall, Higdon (don't think he's played any under 21 stuff to be honest of late), Cuvelier and all the youngsters that we believe are due to be released at the end of the season like Coulstrain etc. Harris played the last under 21 game before today's.

I can see Higdon going, because he did have an impressive spell at Oldham earlier this season, at least in terms of goals.

Funnily enough my favourite goal of last season was the first against Swindon, in the Higdon taken off at half time game,by Murphy that was a "proper" assist by Reed.

By "proper", I mean he played a real part in it rather than just happened to be the last player to touch it before Murph put it away.

Allegedly, the clan McKev were there. Maybe it was an open shop for players. Look at our glittering players on show. We accept Maestro or cheques.

Yes, it was a wonderful ball. He needs to get back to doing things like that though as he really did drop off last season, at least he has time on his side.

Radio Sheffield's breaking news!? "Blades hopeful of concluding one signing"! We need 10 not 1! Oh well, maybe a few leaving and Dan Burns will still be a good window. I can see Ryan Tafazoil at Mansfield coming instead of Burn to be honest.

With all these ex-Blades Portsmouth are signing they must surely be odds on to lose the play off final this season.
Have you seen their league form? They draw far too many. In fact, it looks very much like ours last year. It's almost as if their captain is happy drawing at home.

Higdon contract cancelled!
In talks with Le Fondre!

It's all kicking off!

(Clutching at straws over here...)

HIGDON HAS GONE!

Anybody got a second toe longer than their big toe?

Don't want to start an argument but you really seem to have a vendetta against Reed.
I'd agree with you that I don't think he'll make it with us, but I'd always try an avoid being overly critical.

I understand your Bladey Blade argument, I think people have a tendency to wear rose tinted spectacles when it comes to home grown players, but is that really such a bad thing? I'd much rather they had too much support and enthusiasm than the other way round.

A lot of your posts are intelligent and you make some great observations but it just seems like sometimes you play the contrarian just to ruffle feathers

Is it really beyond the realms of possibility for a Manager to take a job which has certain promises.
Then the promises don't materialise but he has signed a contract so cannot financially walk away.
Therefore he sees the only course of action to fuck it up so he gets sacked and paid off.
Answering any future sleights on his character by saying the club that sacked me were in absolute turmoil from top to bottom, my hands were tied, promises weren't forthcoming etc.
Just a thought.

There's been some barking mad posts on here but this has to be on most All Time Top 10 lists, surely.

Congratulations.
