Whether the 'promisory note' is redeemed on Ramsdale or taken as cash it's likely still part of the transfer fund as it was due.
If during negotiations we used that pm for a greater value than 4m I could agree, also if 1m came after his first full England cap and 2m came after 50 first team apps, etc
