God's country ...... Rovrum!
First of all, I have to say that I'm a big advocate of the managements training methods

The fact that the players train with the same high intensity as they do during a league match appears to be a success, with our win ratio being one of the best in the country.

Now of course this can be partially due to other contributory factors such as tactics, player quality etc

In view of our current injury list, I wonder how many of those injuries can be contributed to the training methods as opposed to receiving injury on match day, or I wonder if some injuries could be indirectly related? The term over training is a phrase that has been used in the past resulting in higher risk to injury during match day

Obviously, we know about Freeman and Lavery's match day injuries, which were just unfortunate, but a lately
there's been a number of training injuries that have come to light and losing all our strike force recently just had me thinking

Even thinking about the Donaldson injury, was there a chance he arrived, wasn't used to the training intensity, bearing in mind he wasn't playing much previously, then straight into a competitive match that contributed to the hamstring problem?

Any thoughts?

Surly you count Donaldson as a match day injury. It's the most clearest one I've ever seen.

Simon Moore was match day too.

So we have Sharp and Hanson training ground? Sharp missed one game and made bench for the next?

Ridiculous post.

Of course the injury occurred on match day

The point I was trying to make was whether having not played much footy at Birmingham, to then arrive at the Lane straight into "intense" training and then straight into the match, contributed to that injury?. We'll never know, but has me wondering. Apart from Billy and Hanson, there's Ched and Leon qho were also injured. No mention that their injuries have occurred during a match so do we assume this intense training is contributing?

Clayton played three 90 mins for Brum and one 70-odd mins, he had a few weeks off granted but was hardly coming in cold!

We only got a couple of freak injuries to loanees last year that surely proved that players benefit from intense training.?

Another good point and I said above I advocate our training methods

Have we now stepped up high intensity training even more because we're now in La Liga?
