Potentially but last summer going into the PL, how many of us would have been over the moon with offering mcburnie a big, long term contract...

I think we may have been very realistic in what we offered contract wise and if it isn't what the player wants then it's no ones fault, just doesn't happen.

It's all very well saying should have just done a year extension or something but there's also no way of knowing what the player is asking for.

I know for a fact we low balled him for ages then just as he was about to agree, las Palmas came in.
