....other than to say we have a joke keeper in net. Too SMALL. One 25-30yarder is a concern, another one is confirmation that he aint up to it. Been saying it from day one and please accept I am right.

I don't care that he made a decent double save late-on.

Bunn OUT and Blackwell can sod off as well.

We should be able to beat 9 men simple as that.

They barely had a shot on goal all afternoon.

Hendo and Evans not really worth their price tags today.

Don't worry about the second sending off being seconds from the end of the game spoil your chance to have pop eh?

Even against 10 men against a piss poor Swansea team we should of won.

Take the red and white specs off mate.

Bring on the Blackie Knockers, where were they all last week when we beat the pigs?

Ok so we've lost again, 2nd away defeat in a row.

Sounds like we missed Jamie Ward massively. Cotteril came in and didn't do the job. We need a player that can come in and work hard away from home.

Strikers sounded like they didn't do the job.

I read this week that we have players with Lamborghini's Range Rovers etc. Well Blackie needs to have a word with these players and get them Working for their money.

Full faith in Blackie, he just now needs to earn his money starting on Tuesday.

Up the Blades!

Agree totally Swiss.

UP THE BLADES!!

Blackwell needs to have a long hard look at himself
Last week we were three up at half time yet hanging on at the final whistle.
We have let in seven goals in the last three matches!
We continue to pump long balls for Donkey Henderson same owd same owd every game.
Blackwell make me and other doubters change our minds on Tuesday - drop Henderson and lets look for a new attacking formation!

I would've liked Blackie to have come out post match and knock the performance though.

McCabe needs to take long hard look at Blackwell, not Blackwell taking a look at himself and realising how lucky he is to have the best job imaginable for a man of his limited talent.

Someone will have to explain to me why we spent £3m on Evans. Surely, that type of signing has to be first name on sheet on any CCC club, let alone one undergoing a 're-profiling' exercise.

Were you there today because it sounds like we played Evans out of position when he came on?

Up the Blades!

I spent a lot of last season knocking him on here, especially after the home derby. I haven't joined in this year (yet) because I think his record at the end of last season has certainly bought him another crack at the whip. One loss doesn't ruin our season. Maybe we just need a settled team, due to injuries and new players coming in we've not had that luxury yet. It's too early yet to tell where our season is going

I wouldn't go as far as saying I have full faith in him though. A common complaint is that he doesn't have a plan B, and we do seem to be quite ineffective at chasing a game when the opposition shuts us out. His signings have also been hit and miss.

Looking forward to 3 points on Tuesday. UTB

No. Radio for me. I'm guessing re Bunn for the goal based on what Edwards says and will obviously retract if it was unstoppable.

Yes it did sound like Evans played somewhere other than bang up front and it is a totaly mystery to me

Well thats Blackwells mistake today.

He knows he's got it wrong but the players also got it wrong.

Agree that the players have massive responsibility - impossible to say otherwise, but he's had a massive budget in CCC terms, and returning in part to original post by way of example, we have a £3m striker on bench and a keeper who I'm sorry to say is out of his depth.

players need to stand up and be counted.

Bunn? he made two or three good saves today, one right into his bottom corner from Dyer.

The pen he didnt have much chance with, the second was in off the bottom of the post, or so it looked.

I can't comment on Bunn haven't seen the goal.

Again the 4 5 1 has worked for us, it should have been reid going on or switching it to the 4 4 2 if your going to play Evans, its a mistake Blackwell will learn from. Calling for his head (can't remember if you did) is appauling after this blip.

Our team is still new their improving, we need to shore the amount of goals we have leaked up but I have faith that we will.

Its back to basics, and I'd imagine they won't be getting a day off.

Cott's needs to step up when he gets a game, just putting the effort in from coming off the bench will only keep you there.

If I was Blackie he'd be going straight back there on Tuesday as it sounds like he just didn't get into it today, and he could have been the main threat from what it sounds like.

I'm sure you're right re a couple of decent saves but were they saves you'd expect any keeper to make?

My point is that it's 1-1, 80 minutes gone and we're very likely to win the game. Next thing we're 2-1 down and it did not sound like a wonder strike, which it should be to beat a keeper from distance.

Cheers Come from away. Beaten by speed - sounds very worrying to me. Small keepers like him need to have better reactions that your regulation 6 foot 2 keepers.

Even against 10 men against a piss poor Swansea team we should of won.

Take the red and white specs off mate.

Fair enough; we should have been good enough to beat a ten men team. My issue was with the suggestion that we were playing against 9 men when the guy was sent off after 94 minutes. Even the best teams aren't likely to be able to make that count in such a short period of time.

Why is it such a bad thing to have red and white tinted glasses? This is a Blades fan site isn't it? Don't we all have the same glasses?

Even with a a couple of minutes down to 9 men we should of been all over them well before that happend.

Listening to Radio, it sounded lack last 10 minutes were a total shambles. No composure, terrible crosses and mishit passes.

Being a mere 5' 8" I find it funny that a 6 footer is described as too small! not saying I disagree 'cos it is like land of the giants on the pitch these days!

i just don't get the suggestion that Mark Bunn is too small to be a good goalkeeper.

Bunn is 6ft which is as big as many decent GK's from past and present.

Height does have it’s advantages, especially around certain facets of goalkeeping, like presence, the ability to attack crosses and the ball in shooting situations in a more economical fashion, but it is not the be all end all of a goalkeepers ability.

I'd value the opinion more highly if offered a reasonable explanation of why it was felt being 6ft hindered him being as he commands his area a hell of a lot more than Kenny. I personally don't think a few inches in height either way makes a difference, if he was 5ft 2 or something ridiculous thn fair enough but that's not the case. It's then all down to his footwork, concentration and the ability to get off the ground. Again I don't think he's any worse than Kenny.

Also I have to say I find it ridiculous to listen to the radio commentary then come on here a few minutes after the final whistle slagging Bunn for his height being our downfall. In actual fact Edwards said Bunn couldn't do much about it (whether that's true or not I'll wait to see myself.)

Making rash statements off the back of the comments of one controversial commentator and offering to retract them if/when you are proven wrong seems a bad way of debating to me.

Edwards/Bennet said they were surprised it went in. I did not hear him say nothing he could do about it.

Why is an opinion on a forum a rash statement? I have to watch what I say at work, not the same on here. If you disagree great, we'll have a debate but don't call it rash. It is fair game to criticise a player for whatever reason on here just the same as it si for you to stand up for him

Height helps you tip a 25 yarder round the post.

However, someone at the game said he was beaten by speed which is very concerning for me because he is meant to be I think one of these lively, agile keepers that you seem to prefer from reading between lines of your post.

If we assume that all pro keepers haev basic positional skills etc then I think 6 foot is not tall enough - it is a disadvantage when compared with say Leicester keeper.

Talking of which he was totally commanding in the area. I really cannot believe you think it is an attribute that he commands the area more than Kenny - I'm not sure he does but anyway I think they are both very poor in that department. What Kenny very rarely did though was let these low long range efforts in and I'd have him back tomorrow if we could.

A Knockers cut out and keep guide. 10 top tips.

1) Call McCabe "cheap" at every opportunity. Even when we win.
2) Say nowt when we win, or perhaps chip in that we were lucky.
3) Mention long ball and unattractive football every half hour.
4) Say Blackwell out for long enough and eventually you will be right. Then prepare to tell everyone what a visionary you are.
5) When we lose you can wear your biggest Sunday best grin and say things like "pub team" and "I told you we are shit"
6) Have a scapegoat. This is a must for every knocker. In fact the more you have the better. "It was that donkey Henderson" is a key phrase and "Our keeper is too short" is a nice recent addition.
7) Remember, you know better than anyone at the club. It doesn't matter that they have been doing this for years, they have obviously been doing it wrong. You are the answer to all Uniteds problems.
8) Don't apply for the managers job. Even though you know better than anyone else and could obviously do Blackwells job, Evans' job and the entire back 4, you don't want to have your obvious talent tested.
9) Tell anyone who will listen (and there aren't many who want to) that we are a selling club.
10) Go to work on Monday miserable. Make everyone at your workplace miserable. We lost a game of football on Saturday, don't you understand?

Lets face it, even when we win todays supporter has to have a pop. Makes up for how miserable the rest of their lives obviously are. The players, the manager and the chairman know nothing. Thats why almost every other club outside the Premiership (and many in it) look at us as the model of a well run club.

I just don't understand the negativity in these people. I guess the suicide hotline will be buzzing tonight.

Couldn't agree more, but lets not let basic facts get in the way of having a pop at the club. Especially when its from someone who heard it on the radio. I know digital radio is a bit good these days but I didn't know you could see pictures down it now.

Some should look up the word supporter!
