I was just thinking the other day about our finishes under Wilder.

Season before he arrived: 11th L1
1st season: 1st L1 (10 places higher)
2nd season: 10th Champ (14 places higher)
3rd season: 2nd Champ (8 places higher)
4th season:.... who knows

The pattern so far is moving up about half a division per season

That gives an average of just over 10 places higher per season, I'd be more than happy if we finished in 11th place.

Are we still top 6 though cos MOTD 2 lastnight only showed the top 5 in the table and the showed to bottom 8 teams so we must be somewhere in between .....its all getting a tad confusing atm....bring back the Anglo scottish cup .....

Would be typical for blades to qualify for Europe and then all English teams are withdrawn due to Brexit.

I think we’ve just hit upon the right balance to the team with Mousset up top and McG playing just behind, superbly I might add. Injuries notwithstanding, we just need a fully fit Mousset, although if he’s only playing at 70% then he’ll be incredible at 100%. I can’t believe it’s the same player I saw struggle against Matlock in pre season.

We could win the league every year, and the champions league every year, have a 100,000 capacity stadium on the BL site, charge £10 entry to the SS, £5 for kop, kids and pensioners free and there’d still be posts on here about how we’re selling the wrong type of craft beer and how there isn’t much legroom on the kop if you’re 6’11’’.

Don't you know the Premier League table only shows five teams on MOTD starting from last Saturday, normal service will resume in the second half of the season when we have been found out and it all gets a lot harder to get points

Bear in mind we usually start off a bit slower and get better as the season goes on (barring post Coutts injury) then i can see this season being something special!
