Just wanted to know what everybody thinks the table will now be like at the end of the season, I know there's still a lot of football to be played, but we were 'destined' to finish mid-table a couple of weeks back. With Di-Canio, Saunders and Robins leaving their clubs and a 3 game winning streak things are definitely looking a lot brighter for us.... but then again so were things this time last year weren't they?

1. AFC Bournemouth
2. Sheffield United

3. Brentford
4. Yeovil Town
5. Doncaster Rovers
6. Swindon Town

7. Tranmere Rovers
8. Coventry City

Bloody hope I'm right :)

(Only added Coventry because I thought they would get into the play-offs with Robins in charge)

The next match is vital. Win that one & the belief its our year may just get us over the line.

What a piss poor league this is if Bournemouth do go on to win it

It is a piss poor league and we should be pissing all over the rest. The only reason we aren't is down to bad luck, with injuries and at times awful football. At least now we have something to build on. A couple of weeks ago I'd given up any hopes of automatic promotion, and even thought the play-offs would be a bonus. Still a long way to go, but we can do it.

*This is a medical term so my wife, Nurse Mrs SV, informs me. It is used when the medical expert is confused as to a patient's exact condition. It means "Don't Fucking Know, Don't Fucking Care."

And last season two of our close rivals sacked their managers, the pesky critters

Tranny v Swindon will be interesting tonight. A draw would be about right for us

All I know is that for us to have been on the awful run we had since December and still be a point off top with a game in hand just goes to show how dreadful this league is this season.

With our squad and the run-in we have if we don't finish top and go up as Champions we reallly don't deserve fuck-all..

I reckon you're spot on there. I hope you're right as I'm not sure I can handle any more playoffs this side of the year 2100/2101 season :)

Agree who gives a fook who's behind us in second . U T B.

I think if Swindon stay out of administration they could be the team to kick on. Yeovil will run out of steam and fall quicker than they rose. Coventry will fizzle out

Walsall are currently marching through the division largely un-noticed. They're on a good run and beaten Bournemouth and Donny along the way. They're looking a good outsider bet to sneak into the play off picture.

Just looked at their run in as well - of their last 13 games, all bar 4 are against mid or bottom teams.

Think i've just typed myself into a few quid at 40/1! :)
