The last time NA managed in league one, this was his tools, nearly all players inhereted from Alan Pardew who finished 7th with this lot + Jason Puncheon and Michael Antonio who was sold on NA's arrival.(how did they finish 7th with this lot)

I said before Adkins was appointed that the Southampton squad he took up from L1 was the strongest I've ever seen in that division. Work things out from there

I think they finished 7th the previous season because they had a points deduction.

Who did NA have at Scunny?
 
We should be buying up the best players in the league.

FFP widely criticized for keeping big clubs at the top and small clubs at the bottom.

Yet, SUFC the biggest club in the league, by some margin managed to use it as an excuse for being restricted.

You are only restricted because you are trying to compete with clubs in the divisions above for players in the divisions above.

Just send a wrecking ball through the squads of league one and take all the best players. It's not hard.

The size of the club compared with all the others in the league is the biggest tool you could ask for and we don't use it.
