Not to mention the Citeh fans who were quite happy to sit on the Bell End

A hard working midfielder not fit to lace TC's boots.

BTW, I think it was an internet poll that got hijacked by other clubs mischievous supporters. Tsk, footie fans eh?

They were branded as Timberworld for a few years, but I’ve noticed the Laver branding coming back quite a bit, and that’s down in the southwest, somewhat away from their core area. Don’t know if they’re still family owned.
Laver still have their head office at Bramall Lane. They operate under a number of brand names with Timberworld probably being most well known.

Be better naming it the Alan Woodward stand at least he didn't fuck off up the M1

My feelings exactly
Woodward was a one club man probably could have gone to a 'bigger' club but was a very loyal Blade
Until United rescued Currie from taxi driving in Watford he would have stayed there
If anything Currie should feel very lucky that United stuck by him, saying that he was a great footballer

Fucking scandalous that this club never gave Alan a stand while he was alive , fucking rubbish Sheffield United !

Haha, brilliant. Quick question though, He's seen as great and from what Ive seen of him on clips he was, but did he contribute more to the club that Billy Sharp? Similar about of games played for us by both...Sharps scored a lot more goals.

I'm not biased to Sharp, genuinely interested in peoples views of contribution to the club
I can remember a time when it was worth going to the lane, just to see what Tony Currie did next…..

… and Woodward, Reece, Badger, Hodgkinson ….

I'd have it called the swfc stand over that woman beating child bullying cunt.

To an older git like me the South Stand side was always cricket pavilion side!!!:)
Those were the days. It’s funny when people mention time wasting, we had it made. Hoof the ball towards the pavilion and the ball-boy would amble over the cricket outfield to retrieve it. We had time wasting down to a fine art in those days.

When I started going officially the Kop was the “En-Tout-Cas Stand” and the Bramall Lane end was “The Stones Best Bitter Stand.

The Kop was the Hallam FM Kop in the early 00s and for a while now seems to be known as the Kennedy’s Kop but I’ve no idea what Kennedy’s is (other than a doomed American political dynasty).
Kennedy's are a law firm who sponsor and work with United.

If it’s renamed most Blades will still refer to it as the TC Stand
As the New South Stand that almost bankrupted the club doesn’t trip off the tongue as easy
