Syd - who are the reserve players you class as 'far better' who play a similar role to Tonne? Not having a pop, I genuinely can't remember many of our reserves today (I know they won their league, so there must be some quality in there).

Not answering the question, but... Our reserves, whoever they are, unlikely to be more use than Tonne. At least he's played a few first team games.

Speaking to a York fan, he says their manager has a record of signing good young players but not playing them. He rated him and like me, thinks his best position is on the left of a front three.

He's played 3 games in 3 different positions too, which obviously won't have helped him. Don't write him off just because the loan move hasn't gone according to plan

York are training around the corner from my office this afternoon so I might nip down there and have a word with young Tonne.

Should we make it to Wembley, would he be able to feature in the squad, making it 3 Wembley appearances in 2 weeks?
