If we win tomorrow, it begins to get VERY interesting.

Looking at the fixtures, you would think the following would happen:

Millwall - Fulham (AWAY W, more hope than anything).
Brentford - QPR (HOME)
Bristol C - Hull (HOME)
Derby - Boro (DRAW)
Preston - Norwich (HOME)

So if all of those results happen the table would like this "IF" we win...

5. Boro 70
6. Derby 69
7. Millwall 69
8. Preston 69
9. Blades 69
11. Brentford 68
12. Bristol C 68

I've never wanted 69 more in my life !!

i can see this going to the last game and knowing our luck....
we will be winning 1-0 until the 92nd miniute when a low flying pigeon will direct a skied effort by Bristol goal bound and we will draw, missing out on GD !!

whatever happens , great season and some great memories , thank you CWAK and the team

then Sean Bean will lead a team of compaigners around London killing all pigeons with his sword and dressed as Lord Stark !

Not get that far in the BC game, they'll be wheeling out Rob Styles as ref, Mike Dean and Graham Poll running the lines, David Elleray as fourth official and Martin Samuel and Mark the Pitsmoor armed robber in charge of VAR.

Don't be so bloody stupid!

We'll be leading 5-0 and be just in the zone. It's at that point the pigeon will come into play, in the 90+6 minute, and we will lose out on goals scored.

Is it a random pigeon or 'the' pigeon, sorry to be pedantic but it could be important

Millwall - Fulham (AWAY W, more hope than anything).
Brentford - QPR (HOME)
Bristol C - Hull (Draw)
Derby - Boro (Away)
Preston - Norwich (HOME)

Also let's not lose sight of old Colin Cardiff - Forest (Home, sadly)

5 Boro 72
6 Millwall 69
7 Preston 69
8 Blades 69
9 Derby 68
10 Brentford 68
11 Bris C. 66
(BTW you missed out 10th position)
We need goals - lots of them!

I know he comes across as a plonker but he has been complimentary towards United on more than one occasion.

Each game in now is a shit or bust fixture , if we’re honest , by rights now we should really be out of it with the dropped points .. but we’re not ,,,we’re still very much in it , a position we’d have snapped your hand off back in August .. but now realistically it has to be 3 wins now as the sand is nearly through hour glass.

Let’s enjoy it come what may & really get behind the lads .. COYRAWW

Aden bastard Flint will score again. That Danny Wilson didn’t sign him for us haunts my dreams.

Can everybody stop saying "if we had been offered that at the start of the season I'd've bit yer 'and off" etc.

It's a daft proposition anyway.

What you mean is, the team have performed well compared to my own expectations at the start of the season.

Having got ourselves into the position we have, we deserve to enjoy the possibility that we might still have a chance without giving up because we've done OK already.

Millwall losing 2-0 , cracking goal from Kevin McDonald

Total fluke.
McDonald has great control and passing but his shooting is terrible.
His big weakness is that he doesn’t score enough goals.
Brilliant finish though, no wonder he almost feinted in disbelief when it went in.

When the Millwall sub, noticed that one of the Millwall coaches looked like Kevin Fat Piggy Pressman.
So I googled Kevin Pressmsn and he is the goalie coach at Millwall.

A Fulham win is an important scoreline for us. Millwall drop points and it puts serious pressure on Cardiff to try to beat Derby in mid week. If we can beat Birmingham tomorrow we could found ourselves back in with a half decent chance of the playoffs.

Mmm, wish we could score flukes like that!

Typical that Archer, having played a blinder against us last week and looking like the 'wall of steel' is having a nightmare tonight. Cock.
Standard.

Millwall really have made very little go a very long way, this season. A very basic, functional team.

Watching on TV really amplifies it because, in the brief periods of the game when Millwall are mounting an attack, the ball simply disappears from the screen, until it drops back in towards the head of one of their many big lads. It's the same in Cardiff matches.

Watching football without a football...

Yeah plus it would be very ungrateful to bite someone's hand off if they offered you something

We made him look good
I couldn't understand the praise he was getting most of the "saves" he made were straight at him

Like the reaction one from Billy, low down to his left in the last few minutes.......or the one from Baldock at point-blank range that was behind him when he saved it......or the long-range one from Evans(?) that noticeably swerved in the air, late?

Yeah, good point.

Yes all of them ,except without the wildly exagerated window dressing you've added

Strange how all the pundits, radio station and newspapers said what a great game he had, confirming the match highlights and what most of us saw on the day. You obviously believe you know much better than all of them.

Yeah i noticed that that possiblity with boro derby draw & preston win. It would have alot of team within a point. Im not sure if i could take the stress of the Preston game & then working during the final game. Id be a nervous wreck, if my bosses somehow stumble across this. certainly not listening to the game on Radio Sheffield. While working & keeping everyone updated ;)
